i've owned both a 91 turbo mr2 and i currently have a 97 eclipse turbo. Stock versus stock it would be close since the mr2 weighs so little and the eclipse is a heavy beast. But the gsx is ALOT easier to work on than an mr2, and even easier to find parts for. But i will say i would rather have my mr2 over my eclipse (you just have to love a mr car)

That model MR2 has 112 HP stock. It'll be a huge difference if it had 180 HP, especially if it weighs at least 1000 lbs less than the Eclipse.

Do you know anything about cars? First of all, Supras will always be faster than GSX's, it's not even close, especially when getting deep into mods. Second, that's the first generation of MR2s... the mk2s are turbo and have a lot more potential

Well, supra has a 6 cilinder engine, and teh gsx just a four cilinder, why don't you compare a full moded supra with an V8 big- block also moded, because supra wil never be faster. Anyway, the mr2 was owned, and that's what matters, 4 cilinder vs 4 cilinder.

Like I said, let's see that GSX take on a MK2 MR2 Turbo with a few mods. The MR2 in the video probably wasn't even supercharged, and even if it was it wouldn't be a match if they were both stock. The GSX would still win. 91-95 Turbo MR2s would lay waste to it, though.
