you should play this song on the keyboard with the Midi file so that we know how to play. it would be nice if I'm able to play it on piano at Disneyland or WDW!!
Hi,your video of splash mountain it was very nice i do a model of paper,of splash mountain, i do it ,all the attraction with paper, the drops, the animatronic ,trunks and music ,when you are finished viewing the video vote and comment on,searchit in this page:
I wish I could find sheet music for this song.... This is my favorite ride at Disneyland, and I found this and was like OMG!!!! So I've been learning by ear... it sucks compared to this T_T
@Sandinista i love song of the south for my first time on sunday right here on you tube and i loved it oh and who is ur favorite song of the south character mine is brér rabbit and brér rabbit is also my favorite disney character
@bobrobert13 "How Do You Do" is in Bb, "Ev'rybody Has a Laughing Place" is in Ab and then Db, "Burrows Lament" is in Ab m (at least at first), and "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" is in Eb and then C. Hope this helps! =)
@1taken Hey this is whitehead bob. I have a project for you. A very easy one. For Splash mountain and for space mountain record those songs like you have done for youtube, but record them on your electric keyboard as a MIDI. (Musical Instrument Digital Interface). Send them to my email: macias.wendy@gmail.com The MIDI be transformed into piano sheet music! When Im done (Should take only 5 min.)I will send you copies of the sheets so you can send them to the other people who ask for sheets
@whiteheadbob1 I would love to play the two songs at my own piano at home and show my family. Long live the happy memories of Disney! P.S. Can you send me the MIDI files of Splash Mountain and Space Mountain? I appreciate it. I dont have anymore time to transcribe myself because of my own work life. Music is my passion!
@whiteheadbob1 Hi there! Sorry, but I don't currently have a MIDI keyboard hooked up to my computer - and even if I did, the output wouldn't be right. I tend to play things differently on a real piano. And there are parts that require special notation and thus wouldn't look right at all if transcribed by MIDI...and I'm not that accurate rhythmically, either. :P Sorry!
Oh yeah, splash mountain, the first time i got in the ride, the first thing i noticed it was that there wasn't any seatbelt so, i shat bricks when I saw the huge fall. Awesome ride tough
And if u didnt already know this, the reason they dont have seat belts is because if the boat thing flipped over, the chances are you would drown struggling to get your seatbelt off
How did you know that? Well, thanks for the info, but the second time i got in the ride there was seat belts. So probably our theories get a bit messy.
@Coastergeekperson04 Hmmm...I'm not sure which comment you're referring to. For the sake of clarity, though, that is correct: I have posted many videos, all without a video camera. =) I use a microphone hooked up to my computer when I record piano arrangements, and I used to use screen capture software when I would make Blender videos.
This is great! Do you hv a link where we could find this arrangement like the one to Soarin' Over California? I'm all over Splash Mountain and its Disney piano sheets :D
Yay! This is great! :D Splash Mountain is my favorite ride. I sing along with all the animals when I go on it. I can see and hear "Song of the South" (the 1946 movie) all over this ride.
I love that you noticed the difference between the splash mountain soundtrack at Disneyland and Disney World. I'm not sure which one to like better! Love the ride and cartoon!
omg. ur the greatest person ever. i just watched ur jurassic park which i love (im making the jeep) and im obsessed with disney world. and i play piano. not very good though lol
Wow, another great arrangement! I agree with MBrilhart wholeheartedly - this piece should be used in the parks! It really does remind you of waiting in the line (goodness knows you're in it long enough!).
This is way better than the recordings used in WDW! They should use these! While they can't compare to the Disneyland recordings (A Complete Orchestra Recording and a piano are not any bit compareable) It's an awsome piece of work! Bravo!
i do hear some little chord mix ups and like one wrong note but then again I dont have the music ability to write and play the music like you! Excellent work!
Fabulous. I love Splash Mountain and its songs. The piano work is what I've been looking for for awhile. I don't mean to be over-praising, but I love this. Great job.
I knew that was familiar to the Medley from the Disneyland soundtrack! My sister and I sing along to the medley as our Pre-Disneyland ritual in the car, especially stuff like the splash mountain medley, Grim Grinning Ghosts, or Its a Small World on the long drive to Disneyland... That was exactly what I was thinking when hearing this... and in that case you are very spot on and complete with the piano work!
sounds pretty spot on your really good with voicings, you do a good job capturing the sound and feel of the original. Do you have a video camera/ cuz it would be cool to actually see you playing these. Also where do you get the music that you reference from, do you have a Disney theme park ride soundtrack cd or something? There's no way your doing this from memory
Good job with the piano... playing any instrument is tough so even if you did make any mistakes I could not really tell since everything sounded just like on Splash Mountain! I like how you made the different songs blend together just like the attraction!
you should play this song on the keyboard with the Midi file so that we know how to play. it would be nice if I'm able to play it on piano at Disneyland or WDW!!
