You probably watched that pride highlight with Josh Barnett, in fact "Chonan wasn't ever in the fight" is pretty much a direct quote from what Josh says. If you watch the whole fight you will see it is pretty close up until the end. If you want to compare Liddell in his prime or Couture in his prime to Rua, you have to also compare them to Rua when he fought his best. He was one of the most vicious fighters in MMA in his early days. And now that he's recovered, provided he doesn't re-injure himself, I see him back on top. However, he does have to get through a pretty stacked lineup in the LHW division.

Actually I think it is you BigSparky22 who didn't watch the fight. You probably watched that pride highlight with Josh Barnett, in fact "Chonan wasn't ever in the fight" is pretty much a direct quote from what Josh says. If you watch the whole fight you will see it is pretty close up until the end. Anderson wins the majority of the first round but there is a good 4 mins with Chonan on top of him reigning down punches. The second round is all Chonan. The third is Andersons until he taps.
