Thanks for this! 1992 was not a good year in my life so I don't have a lot of good memories of 1992. Billboard also changed the Hot 100 rules so less songs went #1 and Top 10.

It's amazing how several of the songs that didn't reach #1 are considered classics and are still played on the radio today and several that did reach #1 have been almost forgotten after all these years.

There was so much variety in the music in the early 90's, whereas thesedays there's a LOT of manufactured crap - and the film clips were cleaner!

@TheMotherfer I remember watching "America's Top Ten" in early 1992 and these songs did in fact peak at #'s 6 & 9.  I'm from Canada and U2's "Myterious Ways" did reach #1 here (having booted MJ's "Black or White" out of top spot).
