I remember the 3rd night out with my brand new 2005 LS6 M6 GTO. Thought I was virtually unbeatable. Pulled along side a silver Benz. Girl, pretty damn hot too, rolls down the window asked how much HP I got. I was like WTF? I said proudly, 400HP and 400 TQ. She said that's it, oh never mind. I didn't realized how owned I was about to get but took the bait and got murdered 0-120MPH. Ran home and googled E55 something Benz. 469HP/512. Guess I should have never minded LOL ZR1 though. outter worldly!

55 OWNER checking in here!! 3rd spot on dragtimes (No NOS) IMO While ZR1s are MONSTERS I truly believe that 55 was far from 600hp for the Vette to walk like it did...Not to mention weight difference and perhaps heat soak issues, there are just too many variables.

Stock E55, my E55 sounds like that, QUITE because it's STOCK, do you really take us for fools. Prove your power figures with a dyno?! I've seen 600whp E55 run high 10s as the track with radials. The ZR1 runs low 11s stock and some have gotten high 10s. The ZR1 is a BEAST but your car is STOCK. Fool others but you won't fool me buddy.

The 10 sec car isn't mine, it's a Kleeman modified car. Without Nitrous it ran high 10. Go check it out on drag time, it was dyno'd at 598 whp. I think the torque is what did it and the auto, it's a 5 speed, it's not the most sophisticated box but it does the job and with the torque this engine has it actually is an advantage to have 5 gears. I can't post the link because of YouTube's stupid spam thing but do to DragTimes and go to W211 E55, not E63 and look at the fastest non-nitrous runs.
