yeah english(american) really isn't an offcial language like it hasn't been around as long as all the others. its a mix of all the other languages or at least thats what my teacher told me haha but i'm learning spanish they say like if you learn spanish its basically connected to all the other languages and isn't gonna be as hard to learn. but i heard chinese is super hard. i wanna get rosetta stone and learn another one but geez its so freaking expensive ha
