To be honest, it was obvious that retrieving the arrow was a riddle in disguise: "You NEED both to reach the arrow". The 'need' part suggesting that you turn the 'handicaps' into tools which Mulan figured out.

I do something like that (llistened other version of language in many films), and hear something. There is "type of voices" for every country. For example.
