really great movie, and James was great in it. I mean his character wasn't suppose to play a huge part in the story, and yet you totally empathized with him throughout the film.

A frankenstien stoy sounds a bit intellectually lazy to be honest. It was the social and the political aspect that made the original great not the fact that you were looking at a bunch of people running around in monkey costumes.

The originals were menacing, and had a subtle unnerving undercurrent to them, especially when Caesar starts the revolt later on. Made you think when you first saw it.
The bar is set very high for this, in my view. I hope it's fantastic, but I have my doubts.
