i think that today there is no need of tarikats anymore because there are institutions who do islamic research and who teach islam

in former times like in the ottoman empire time, the tarikats had the functions of those institutions because there was no real order or system in religious terms

well....ever since the ummah has strayed away from tarikat and joined these institutions that do "islamic research" the ummah general state has constantly decreased....

when everyone from the halifa to the villager had a sheikh the ummah was powerful.

we have lost our dignity and honor..

Ey iman edenler, Allah'a itaat edin; peygambere itaat edin ve sizden olan emir sahiplerine de. Eğer bir şeyde anlaşmazlığa düşerseniz, artık onu Allah'a ve Resulüne döndürün. Şayet Allah'a ve ahiret gününe iman ediyorsanız. Bu, hayırlı ve sonuç bakımından daha güzeldir.Nisa -59

Maalesef Tarikat şirkine ve küfrüne düşen insan tövbe etmeden Allah onları cennetine almayacak.

Allah!a ulaşmak isteye Kuran ve Sünnete sarılmalı! Tek kurtuluş ehli sünnet olmaktan geçer ehli tarikat olmak değil.
