I agree with all the rest of the grateful viewers....Thank u....I didn't even know the show existed, though i love classic old victorian goth movies. I was looking for something else i used to watch as a kid saturday nights with vamps and stuff.
I could always tell when Barnabas was going to bite someone, his makeup was more intense. The masoleum set was so beautiful when it was lit; the sets were so beautiful on TV; I always wondered what they looked like in the studio--has anyone ever seen the inside of the studio and how did the sets look?
This is the second video that I have seen of yours Baron..You do fantastic work. Thank you for keeping Dark Shadows alive through your work, it's greatly appreciated by this fan.
Oh, BTW, Baron, and--as young Mr. Grace would say in "Are You Being Served?"--'a job well done' and to the players in these scenes 'you all did very well, now carry on!'
Cool music...ragged, raw, and creepy. The last scene in black and white is priceless! This is one show that looks great in both black and white and color, and it's fortunate that we have both, but the black and white enhances the spectral eeriness of the sets, music, costuming, and makeup. Portions of it filmed this way remind me of silent film. 3:24-3:31 is an example. Frid's stark makeup is reminiscent of the heavy shadowed effect found in the early silents. Frid and Harrison favored.
Very Cool. Loved the music, fit so well....may I ask the name of the group? Had a very Nirvana-ish sound to it. I especially liked the last shot of Barnabas....very handsome, looked a little like George Harrison in that final shot.
This is a great choice of song for DS! I love the black and white. It always added more mystery to the the show. Excellent video, and an instant favorite.
Great job! I too love the black & white of the show and agree that it suits the atmosphere better. I have started a group called the Dark Shadows Enthusiasts. If you'd like to join, please let me know. I have a video challenge going on of "Unlikely Couples" and would love it if you made a video for us.
Thanks for taking the time to rate and comment! I'm glad you liked the video! I too liked it better in black and white...it adds so much more to the overall gothic theme of the show.

No matter how much I loved seeing everybody in colour, black and white was so much more eerie and really fit the whole show! Beautiful video!
