  • Astounding. Beautiful. Your very talented!

  • I've been debating between the Rebel t3i, Nikon d5100, andSony A36 for the past month... After stumbling upon your channel, I've finally made my decision!!

Canon it is :)... Awesome work!!!

  • Such a brilliantly shot film, it just looks so beautiful! Love it! Well done :). Oh, and the soundtrack is amazing.

  • Hvordan finner du så gode plasser å lage filmer???

  • do you have magic lantern installed in your camera? i love your videos anyway, good work man.

  • what handheld Steadicam did you guys use?? the movement in this video is soooo smooth...

  • What picture style did you shoot in?

  • Does the video seem choppy to anybody? Could be my computer.

  • Perfect video, Whats the colour correction software..?

  • Great video, this is creativity at its best. I was wondering, can you tell me the settings used when you exported this?

  • the 550d is a great camera. you have used the equipment really well. I keep coming back to this video for ideas and inspiration.

  • wow that looks amazing cool video

  • So who needs all those expensive lens when you can do what this guys does with the kit lens?? Amazing.

  • like 3D cartoon :D wow!!

  • I remember Eskild, he was the cop (head of Team Alpha) in "DSLR Actionfilm (Canon 550D/Rebel t2i/7D)" :)

  • Very good Eskild my friend.....Keep it up.....~

  • nice!!! what do you use to edit?

  • What is that place???

    Coats graveyard? )) Cool!

  • This location will save a lot of money, Where is this located?

  • very good!

  • great video,,,,tutorial,, please

  • amazingggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg reallyyyyyyyyyy!!!! please teachme how u made!!

  • hey what hand stabilizer did you use? answer me through

    philiphulton2002@yahoo.co.uk

    cheers :)

  • yikes!! awesome!

  • by the way what programme do you edit with? When I import the HD files into Sony Vegas or Premier Pro the playback is very choppy and hard to edit, I have to convert all the video files which takes too long. Do you have any tips?

  • what memory card should i buy for my canon 550d ..? wich is the best? and how many gigs i need?

  • what memory card should i buy for my canon 550d ..? wich is the best? and how many gigs i need?

  • and btw looks awesome :D

  • Why not just film with 30 fps?

  • @xNiemann because 24fps is what they film when they do movies

  • @Zronxziq Yes, but this was shot at 25fps because he's using the PAL video system, which is standard in Europe. If you switch any of the video-capable canon DSLRs to PAL instead of NTSC, your options for frame rates become 24, 25, and 50.

  • colour correction?

  • i love the camera handling (movement) in this video GREAT WORK

  • Hi friend. I'd like to know what are the sizes of video for youtube?

  • I have the same camera, use it for wonderful photos. I recently tried videos but no matter what I do I get a choppy look. I did tripod, fixed lens, hold my breath so nothing moves... and still choppy. Can anyone tell me why?

  • @suzanneszarai It is all most certainly the quality of your memory card. they come in different class rates. A minimum requirment for video is 6... If you can afford it though, go for class 10

  • Did you use 1/50 shutter because it is twice of 25 fps? Someone told me that shutter is always twice of the number of frame per second but as a photographer I cannot understand that. What if the there is fast action? Wouldn't everything get blurry?

  • I have a canon 550d and the 18 - 55 mm lense. I'm pretty sure it's impossible to make it look as good as this! Could you do a tutorial on how to make it look like this?

  • Does it say 550d or Rebe T2i on the front?

  • @yellowfoil95 they are both the same cameras, just different names in europe and usa.

  • Stunning quality, a brilliant video.

  • I'm a professional location scout and none of my location scoutings ever looked this good lol. Good job - great location - nice editing :)

  • The value of this video is immense. It shows the supremacy of man vs equipment. Most professional videographers could not do this with a truckload of ARRI gear. It shows the difference between a videographer and a filmmaker.

  • @dinoalberini Well said. You can read pages and pages of text about which camera is better, which lens is better. People saying you cant shoot a movie on anything less than a 5D. This video proves them all wrong. The equipment is only part of it. It's what you do with it that makes the difference. The camera is the tool, it's what you do with it that counts.

  • HOw did you edit the colours, it looks so much like a film!?

  • My 550D video /watch?v=_bHALYeTD3w&

    Thumbs up to support :)

  • did you use magic lantern? :o

    qscale?

  • i am just wondering which would u reccomend the cannon 7d or this?

  • what program did you edit this with?

  • how isthe sounds come out when u film with the t2i man

  • is 50 fps good for films?

  • did u use any software because video quality has changed and video looks soft + colour looks faded . on the whole it looks amazing

  • really nice

  • Well done enjoyed this I thought I was at the cinema it was so good great work.

  • What color grading did you use?

Did you use Magic Bullet Mojo?

  • Hi. What I'd like to know is: how did you get everything in focus? (ie large depth of field) I assume that you had an F stop of about F11 but with no light, you would have had a high ISO, but then, there is hardly any noise. Maybe auto ISO?

  • This is the most cinematic footage I have seen so far shot on a DSLR. How did you get it to look this good? How come other vids from the same camera in 24p don't look this nice?

  • How large of a difference does it make visually to go from 24p to 30p?

  • Isn't this the music from fable??

  • What software did you use for color correction?

  • JVC are fuked up !

  • really nice for a location scout. you can use some of those shoots in a film. plus the location is amazing and so is the light. where did you grade?

    cheers

  • Damn this beautiful can't wait to shoot with my cam

  • awesome movie,,,

  • I can't belive this is 18-15 mm

  • @MErunnerPIMPER I can' t believe it's not butter.

  • @MErunnerPIMPER

    Wait... this is 18-55...

  • @coiL10 18-55 mm lens for DSLR Canon

  • @MErunnerPIMPER

Why? The 18-55mm IS is a fine lens for video.

  • @MErunnerPIMPER yeah me 2..I mean...from the beginning when he walks out of that fog looks like a transformers movie :D

  • @MErunnerPIMPER its not. it's 18-55mm.

  • @MErunnerPIMPER correction its 55mm

  • what did you grade with?

  • esse filme foi feito com 550d t2i ???

  • @gabaria yes

  • WOW! How did you find this warehouse? This is sick!

  • awesome. nice to see what my 550d is abloe to do. now i want to make my own video (never used the video mode...)

  • Hey Andy, would you please give me some tips? I've got a problem about filming since i bought this camera, and i hope you help me. I Usually shoot films at 100ISO,200 ISO, 720p 60fps and low shutter speed, the highest possible number i guess. When i take the footage from the sdhc card to my computer and play it, looks really noisy/grainy, but at the camera previewing it looks great. My SDHC card is a 32GB 10MB/s card.

  • IT IS PERFECT! O_O

  • hey mate great filming i was genuinely shocked to find out you used a kit lens and get this kind of result one question do you have a link of what steadycam you used?

  • What was the aperture (or f stop) and iso set to? and what system did you use with what render settings?

  • this is awesome i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Gave it a thumbs up & added it to my fav's. Brilliant work!

  • @andyax what was your shutter speed? and would you recommend 25 or 24 fps for films?

  • @MarkyJayStudios 1/50 shutterspeed. 25fps and 24fps makes no different. But go for 24fps ;)

  • @Andyax hey i bought that camera like 1 week ago, and i realy like it, here is my question, in which cases i should put my shutter speed lower or higher? what shutter speed actualy does ?

  • @buzzie114 you should always keep your shutter speed at 1/50, or 1/48 if you have that option. canon 550d only has 1/50. shutter speed controls amount of motion blur. faster the shutter speed, the less blur, but the choppier the film looks. feature films are always shot at a natural blur of 1/48. whatever your frames per second is (feature films = 24) you double that to set your shutter speed. however, when its bright, slower shutter speeds let in more light. for that you'll need an ND filter.

  • @Andyax alright thanks a bunch! love your work man.

  • The image seems extremely good for standard lens... Which video editing software did you use?

  • @Andyax 24 is for film. 25 is for television.

  • @MarkyJayStudios which video editing did u use on this video? Great job btw

  • hi can u tell me what kinda render settings to use in sony vegas to get the quality for youtube to come out this well

  • I almost can't believe this is on the 550d, this camera does not cease to amaze me each time I see what the community is doing with it! Think I have to put my order in! Can you share what lense you used and the settings you applied? Great videos, subscribing :)

  • hey im going to get this camera to film/photograph skateboarding and i was wondering, does it take awhile to get the hang of the zooming and focusing on the lens and having it look good?

  • Hei. Hvordan kom du deg inn i fabrikken? Var dørene åpne, eller fikk du tak i en nøkkel eller noe slikt? Jeg skulle gjerne tenkt å kommet meg dit selv og utforsket og tatt noen bilder.

  • Comment removed

  • nice video. what shutter speed did use?

  • when u say the standard lense u mean the one tht came with the t2i kit?

  • I hate actors that make it look obvious they're trying to avoid eye contact with camera lol

  • full of S

  • Whats the steadycam your'e using? I want one, but the camera alone is expensive enough for someone who doesn't use it much and all that well...

  • this song is of "The Lady in The Water" of James Newton Howard

  • This is amazing guys, well done. Some great locations used.

  • i dont know why but this just reminds me of that movie Elephant, the movie about eric harris and dylan klebold lol nice skills with the camera work

  • looking at the 60d even the 7d i really can't see much of a difference to the 550d in my opinion its a lot to do with the lens

  • what did you use to color correct?

  • If hes running color, hes running Final Cut.

  • Comment removed

  • what did you do to your raw 550d footage to make it look so nice

  • @aboha6 Some those questions you asked were answered in the video haha. Lemme make it easier for you though.

    1. He didn't use a Tripod, he was using a "Hand Held Steady Cam"

    2. The ONLY lightening he used was "Natural Sunlight"

    3. For the colors, He color corrected in Color (I'm not for certain but that might be a software? O_O?)

As for him using Sony Vegas, no idea haha. Hopefully he could answer that for you if he ever has a chance to read your comment. Hope that helped in a way?

  • wow just pure awesomeness ^^ great quality for such a quantity really well done.

Gonna buy mine next week. Impressive to get this kind of images with such a low ISO but what was your shutterspeed 1/60 or 1/50?

  • The T2i can take 60fps @ 720p, right?

  • @burnout616 yeah, 60fps in NTSC, 50fps in PAL

  • can't say anything but WOW !!!

i was surprised of what 550d can do although it's not a full-fram < not sure if that effects ? :/

    anyway ..

    what's kind of tripods u got ?

how did u make professional lighting like this !!?

    i mean what's ur lighting secret ????

    plz help

    ..

BTW ,, i think u use Sony vegas ? is that right ?

  • Beautiful footage! I just bought one of these myself. Looking forward to trying it out.

  • you are a freakin' genius! this video is insane! i have a canon rebel t2i, and i wish i knew how to get my videos to look as professional as yours do, but I wouldn't even know where to start!

  • hi can you please tell me what tripod you use and what stedicam? thinking seriously about getting a 550d.

  • did u do it in autofocus mode? how to focus when shooting with a steadycam?

  • @adspotindia I'm not Andy, but I can answer this: the T2i doesn't have autofocus when filming.

  • @InsaneMetal it has autofocus while filming, it's just horribly loud and pretty shit. you'd want to use manual when shooting.

  • @Roaningdotcom Really?? Dammn, I didn't know it lol. Thanks for the info.

  • @InsaneMetal don't let the auto focus put you off by any means. as you can see here the camera is fantastic. for a proper video you'd always want to use manual focus anyway. i find the quality of the auto focus inconsequential when it comes to this camera.

  • Pure awesomeness!!

  • what iso?

  • where can i get the font your using in this?
