@3451wasp - You are kidding right? I saw Faith No More sell out the warfield just last year in San Francisco three nights in a row... Im not the hugest fan of FNM, but unfortunately FNM reached farther around the globe than even Mr Bungle did.. Sad but true, it was well marketed by record companies and a HUGE success. They even hd more than one hit on mtv. Definitely a strong healthy career even if your not into the music.

They are still some intense heavy songs. The music itself can be death metal - it doesn't necessarily need the "cookie monster vocals," despite the fact Patton death grunts in them. Or, growls as well. Oh, and "Surprise! Your Dead!" is definitely thrash metal.

Thanks for posting this, I saw this on the Ball when it came out! I loved the ball back then, now it sucks, its just a highlighted band for an hour. As much of a dork that Rikki was he was the best host the show had, I also loved all the contests that they had on the Ball back then, it was a great way to get/keep the fans close to the show and the music.
