they do use inserts yes but mostly they have the same coloured inserts as the ball they are throwing

i have a question that hopefully one of you can answer

i know the big theme this tournament was norm fighting for his exemption, but last year, he won three titles (lake county indiana classic, columbia 300 classic, and the pepsi championship), so shouldn't he get three years exemption, or does he only get like one year, and then this year he wins the world championship and the us open, so does he get the four years exemption for both tournaments, or just one of them?

depending on what tournament you win depends on how long you are exempt for. in norms case all of his tournaments were for 1 years exemption so he gets 1 year exemption say he one a tounament for 3 years exemption he would get that 3 years.

I disagree. The pros are excellent at executing and repeating shows. The adjustments are the hardest, in that you have to know when to adjust (you want to make it before you go high and leave a 4, or a flat 10), where to go if its carrying down (oil pushing down) or breaking down (getting drier). Plus, the fact that you might run into someone else's line. Thats the mental aspect of the game, and if not, one of the most important.

Exactly, pros can not only throw strikes but consistently throw them when the oil is breaking down and adjust some small things that amateurs and people who just throw balls around wouldn't be able to spot or understand. most people i bowl with who don't care much about bowling don't understand where you stand and how each board matters.
