so it being a foot off the ground will stop him falling will it? even from that height you can break easily a clavical if you fall badly. i think its best to climb safely, wether you do or not.

I hear ya buddy. I've done that problem, you cant even spot on that thing you'd be an interference to the boulderer. I just find it funny how pussified climbing and bouldering has become. I feel the old school climbers had the best style and ethics.

I am interested in hearing you elaborate on that opinion. Elite climbers are climbing much harder grades with much more environmentally friendly protection methods than the old school climbers.

Well elite climbers can climb harder because older climbers paved the way, also it helps to have better gear. I will agree that most passive and active pro now does less damage to the rock. But I was referring to the generation of gym rats needing boulder pads for a super lowball. Thats just funny to me.
