  • how come hermione looks really young there?

  • Out of all the deleted scenes, I'll never understand why this was cut. It's perfect, and it would have made the ending more poignant. Even though it's not as much as the book, it would have added more to Harry's grief and well as his friendship with Ron and Hermione. I mean, it's barely over a minute long! I still love the film but there needs to be an extended cut.

  • why did the film makers leave out the best bits in all the movies?

  • All of us were pleased that the Harry Potter movie has been already leaked. We all viewed the whole thing via watchharrypotter . us

  • Great scene. Wish they'd kept it in the movie. I just noticed today that Hermione has a bandage on her hand.

  • i miss Sirus!!

  • love how ron and hermione speak and understand each other without using words...that's love <3

  • @SFD888 you should pay attention to her and harry then

  • They did a good job with this movie. It's hard because if they include every single detail, it probably won't be as interesting (especially for those that haven't read the books) and much more confusing (for the same people). They include the most important parts. I'm glad they ended this movie at the Ministy.

  • poor Harry!!

  • why didn't they put this in?? i think it portrays harry's grief even more (no where near how it does in the book but still)

  • Actually, I'd much rather have a scene with Harry freaking out in Dumbledore's office. In OOTP movie, they don't, 1) give the whole prophecy, and 2) doesn't even show that Dumbledore is the one who the prophecy was made to.

That way, it'd show Harry's anger and his hurt about Sirius, as well as the prophecy information. Oh well, to late now though.

  • So sad!

It realy a buteful film but i even creyed when i wached the film.

Thanx that you have make it possible that i could watch this scene!

    Realy thanx!

  • this movie is so sad i cried a lot for harry and for sirius i never knew this scene was a deleted scene

  • i dont like how this was the shortest movie, but the longest book. its angering.

  • IMO that part in the book was the saddest part of the whole HP series, when Harry opened Sirius' package at the end and found that note that Sirius had left, makes you imagine Sirius sitting alone in his house waiting for Harry to appear in the mirror, but it never happened.

  • gosh i never thought about it that way it sounds so sad :'(

  • ha-ha now you know how severus feels everything in his life is a dissapointant exepect for getting longbottem on the verge of tears every potions they have the stupid git lol

  • I keep forgetting that this isn't in the movie.

  • I have tears in my eyes. I hadn't seen this scene in forever. The music is so sad and the look on Harry's face... it is so full of pain. What a great scene, great Harry/Ron interaction, either way... :P My heart goes out to poor Harry... :*(

  • i really like this scene. but in books there is more info but in the movie its easier to understand and the pictures right there.!!

  • Is it just me or do they completely forget about his scar?

  • it was horrible in the end how Sirius died... in the book Harry sort of blames himself for Sirius' death...but in the movie, no importance was actually given to the way how Harry feels about his death...the movies don't show it clearly...they don't seem to give the viewer the entire story, just bits and pieces

  • yeah but guys there are only so much at u can fit into a movie. i mean the 6th one doen't have everything in it but i still manages to be nearly 3 hrs long

  • but from their expressions u roughly noe how they feel..in the movie i could tell that harry blames himself..oni its not obvious as i dun hab time to read the book myself i get wad the story is watchin the movies..

  • i agree same in Half-Blood Prince.

    No funeral for Dumbledor.

  • @dishanarwani The thing is, most people would've read all the books before the movies came out.

  • i walked out of the cinima crying after this is was rubbish compared to the book

  • Zajebiście

  • the book actually gives you a better mental picture of harry's feelings more then the movie cus in the book they describe some scenes where harry is in agaony and in the movie he is barley making any noise ! i still looovveee the movie though

  • Yes, that was the one thing that really bothered me. I think the movie was too short to give us an understanding of Harry's feelings and emotions troughout the year. In the book he felt sort of disgusted everytime there was this connection between Harry and Voldemort... and that wasn't entirely clear in the movies, which is a sad thing really.

  • i think this book was the hardest to adapt, cuz most of harry's conflicts were internal in this story

  • Aside from Ron being very considerate towards Harry, I also loved the Ron and Hermione part...someone asked why they didn't talk, but I loved the silent understanding that passed through between them!

  • Zajebiście

  • they shuld have put this in the movie!

  • yeah!

  • @Baby144 i know they always delete good scenes !!

  • he must feel crappy, he godfather juss died and he taking it rather well

    gosh i love harry potter!

  • i didnt cry when my mum died. depends on the person sometimes.

  • he does cry in the book. when he sits at the lake where he and sirius were attacked by the dementors, it says when he got up he wiped his face on his sleeve. people often overlook these things in JKR's writing. she doesn't come out and say it, but it's implied. in hbp he spent the first few weeks back at the dursleys locked in his room, refusing to eat. so he does mourn sirius in his own way.

  • i forgot...did they put the scene where harry is talkin to nearly headless nick about sirus camin back as a gost in the movie? also what about the part when he found the mirror sirus gave him at the begging and smashed it?

  • they dont put all the parts in since its such a long book....u cant put a 850 page book in a 2-3hr movie................

  • they could have atleast included quitddetch harry fred and george get a life time ban

  • that nearly headless nick scene in the book broke my heart. harry was grasping at straws for sirius to come back in any shape or form. i cried.

  • hermione looks different in a braid. still nice tho :)

  • aww hermione waits harry!

  • i thought this scene was IN the movie?

  • they should of included this scene .... very touching

  • looks like he's picking lint off his sweater.

  • Hermione is the one who asked Ron to checking up on Harry since she cant go to boys doorm.

  • yeah she can. in the first book, she walks into the boy's dorm to wake up Harry and Ron

  • girls can go to the boys dorm but boys cant go to the girls. it says in the book. girls are mor trustworthy. if a boy trys to go to the girls the stairs turns into a slide thing and u get stuck

  • dear MetalcoreGuitarGuy

    (name *laugh*)

even tough harry didn't cry but he screamed very loudly... =(

    OK?

  • I think it was a matter of Sirius' death being beyond tears entirely. Emotion like that can be too great to express by crying, sometimes.

  • all right ... if you think so...

  • dear puffpastry12,

    hermione ALWAYS looks pretty!!!

the delected scene is good... but I've already seen it on my DVD...

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • ya man she looks good, wher does she live i wana ask her out

  • Err.. I don't know what you mean?!

  • hermione is really pretty, but not with that hair style lolo

  • The lighting is off on that.

  • i like that scene.

  • Aw, I loved that part in the book, they should of kept this in..

  • i've read the book but i don't remember what scene this is? could you tell me? like what is exactly going on in this scene?

  • i don't think is was in the book, but i guess it's right after they got back from the minestory (sorry about the spelling) and the end of term feast was about to start.

  • hey did cry he went crazy after he saw sirius get killed

  • I'm suprised he didnt cry when sirius died but when cedric died, he was crying like crazy!

  • When Cedric died, it was a traumatic experience for Harry. He had never actually witnessed death and realized what it meant at the time. So, his parents' death is excluded because he was only a baby and didn't grasp the true importance of the situation. When Sirius died, Harry didn't cry because he had already seen death in the face. He screamed a lot, but...

  • @MetalcoreGuitarGuy he did that little screaming slash crying bit but your right, he was a bit more frantic of GOF. I blame the director. He doesn't even cry for cedric in the books

  • Great scene, it perfectly displays Harry's sadness and lonliness after Sirius's death. This and the scene showing him enter Dumbledore's office should not have been cut, I love the film the way it is, but I wish they hadn't cut those two scenes.

  • yeah i know!

  • send me a liink of the dumblydoor(i love calling him that out of affection) video

  • uhmm i tought he came out at 21the august :)

  • sadly Half Blood Prince whill release on 2009, damn i can;t wait to see that movie !

  • It's disappointing that we'll all have to wait 11 months now, but I think the movie will be worth the wait. At least I hope so.

  • really???? where i live, we get it in November of 2008.

  • no you wont it will release 17th july 2009 all aroun the world

  • it got released on july 13 07 in THE U.S.

    it's a fact

  • (DevastatingDemise):They're Talking About Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows,OBVIOUSLY! Gaww.

  • I haven't read the book in a while so I can't remember the meaning of this scene. Is it at school after Sirius died?

  • yep,

  • loved it very much

  • it was a gud scene..........wonder why they didn't kept it.

  • i hate how harry is acting harry vs world

  • well, let's take almost everyone you care about away and see how you're acting, eh?

    x]

  • yeaaaa good point lol

  • i think that harry and ron are like frodo an sam....

  • loved it

  • mowingthefront lawn is a harry potter freek

  • harry is acting alot like frodo in this

  • aww i wanna give dan a hug now :P well i do any time hes hot but aw my heasrt breaks even though i know hes acting he does it so well though!

  • when you watch this scene you can feel harrys heartache ,daniel did this scene really well

  • yeah im totally agreeing with you. He is such a wonderful young person and i hate seeing him suffer or get hurt because i love him so much. He's been apart of me since I was 11 years old...

  • yea..

i am obsessed with HP and i hated that it ended...its a part of me

  • same here... its my whole world practically. they feel like family.

  • yeeaa!!!

  • aww i wish they left this in.

  • This scene is so sweet. Why did they delete it? :(

  • I defenetely like the part when ron and hermione met

  • I totally understand Harry

  • what was wrong with hermione's hands

  • probably from detention with umridge

  • ron didn't have one nor harry

  • Didn't notice that before. It's probably an injury from the Ministry.

  • Dan and Ruper are so cute.:)

  • harry and hermione for ever

  • i cant want till the next movie comes out i will be going to theaters that day it comes out

  • Thats a really lovely, kind of emotional, scene, they should've kept it in!

    That would've worked nicely dammit.

  • i odont really get what or where or when this is

  • near the end of the film i think, after everythings happened, before dumbledore comes and speaks to him

  • It was actually supposed to go after Harry talks to Dumbledore. After this scene was cut, pieces of it (Harry packing and sitting on his bed) were inserted right before the talk with Dumbledore, probably for pacing.

  • how you know this???? because i think you are talking crap

  • Argonath88t, because all evidence points to this conclusion. 1)The shot of the castle after the news headlines is dark & matches the lighting of the Harry & Dumbledore scene.

    Continued in next post

  • 2)In this cut scene, Ron mentions the feast. Harry also mentions the feast to Luna in the film after Harry talks with Dumbledore. If this deleted scene took place before Harry and DD's talk (which is plainly set in early morning) then Ron would say the feast is starting, early next morning Harry would talk with Dumbledore, then later that day Harry would ask Luna why she wasn't currently at the feast - which took place the day before. It wouldn't make sense.

  • continued

3)On the DVD, this deleted scene is after the one where Harry comes to talk to Dumbledore.

  • i odont really get what or where or when this is

  • i odont really get what or where or when this is

  • I miss HP so much! I started reading book 3 again! hp fans talk to me :)

  • me too .. im starting from the fourth book again. Hope she writes another one soon. just hoping

  • yea they should of kept tha in the movie they never really show ron and harry intracting as really close friends they kinda seem really distant

  • i dont see y that scene was so good sorry

  • i love that scene :( why did they have to cut it :(

  • I liked that scene. They should have keept it in the movie. If they had, I'd probably name if my favorite scene. I hope the 6th movie is better than the 5th one though. They left a lot out in the 5th movie.

  • they left out like almost more than half it seemed like

  • I hope that they make the 6th book much better than they made the 5th! I meen they exclude so much info!

  • I don't really understand why they cut this scene... In my opinion the main plot of the book lost in the movie: in one hand they didn't really show Harry's feelings about Sirius's death(see this scene...), and in the other they skipped most of the part of his conversation with Dumbledore, although that's the mainest thing what happened in HP5...

So, anyway, miss this scene from the movie...:-(

  • They always manage to screw up the movies one way or another...it's terrible...I don't know how JK Rowling stomachs it...her wonderful writing butchered on screen....

  • i think thats the case with all novels turned movies. theres just not enough time to put in all the info for a 2.5 hour movie

  • This one is so sad :[

  • So cute!

  • well im trying to find the deleted scene with lily, because on wikipedia they have a picture of her with james, and the caption says its a deleted scene but i cant find it anywhere...

  • Yeah, same here! If anyone knows where I can find it, please spill (tell, for the foreigners among us!)

  • aww. that wouldve been a good scene to have in it.

  • k this is gay how they always cut out good parts.

  • Did you ever see the D&D movie? The first one that is. Normally when you watch a deleted scene in a movie you can see why it was cut out even if you don't totally agree. In that movie the scenes that they cut out explained the main plot of the movie and the main character's motivations! That was the worst movie for the scenes they cut, it could have been acceptable.

  • hermiones got a nice plat =) lol

  • He said "The feasts about to start".

  • Wait, What did Ron say?

    -.- I got some hearing problems -.-

  • 'the party is going to start'

  • i wonder why they didnt stick this scene in the movie

  • beautiful scene!

  • Remember that Molly is a member of the Order and she does come from a family of powerful and gifted wizards. Besides, she's the perfect counterpart for Bella: Molly's love for her family can only be matched by Bella's devotion to Voldemort.

  • I guess they didn't want to put everything in the movies to avoid spoiling the whole book... Honestly, that's what is killing literature...The writers of the movie did well to just summarize the plot and make kids read the books if they want a more detailed account of what really happened...

  • They can't put everything on film, I agree, but it's still an *adaptation* and so many key moments were lost... I just couldn't feel the "spirit" of the book's plot in the movie.

  • I felt it at the end. They really captured the magic of the battle between wizards and death eaters at those ending scenes. But, what really ticks me off is that they didn't put them sacking Hagred in the movie. That was one of the coolest parts, of how the spells were bouncing off of him and such.

  • It was in the original script and it may even have been filmed because they filmed a scene showing Hagrid and McGonnagal (in a wheelchair) returning to Hogwarts.

  • i was upset that they didn't put more into the talk of dumbledore and harry...in the book it was really long and it was very emotion..harry (and the readers) found out a lot of key information in that chapter, i don't know what the 6th and 7th movie are going to be like without that information told to harry.

  • Amen. That is the best scene in all 7 books in my opinion, so much emotion and drama packed into that scene and they cut it! I was upset when I saw it. Of course I was pleased to see how good of a job they did with the possesion scene, I actually think that scene was better in the movie than the book.

  • totally agree with everything you said! but in the 7th book I absolutely LOVED the part when harry saw snape's memories. snape became one of my favorite characters in the end of the 7th book.

  • well the begginging part is in the real movie, but they just go to the train they skip the fest

  • aw so sweet!

  • ron is so nice in this movie...he always take care of harry...i love him...

  • Can you list of all the deleted scenes on the extra disc? I'm absolutely angry that i only got the one disc edition . grr ! =]

Rupert was so hot in the scene , geez! but then again , he was hot through out this whole movie XD

  • Check the message I sent you.

    You're so right about Rupert!

  • I have only one qestion- why did Hermione didn`t even said a word to Ron? Or she prefer to speak only with Harry? Ron sooo much better!=)

  • You haven't got right. After kiss Harry and Cho, Hermiona is says to Ron. They are talking about Cho Chang.

    PS.

I'm from Poland. And my English isn't perfect. I'm so sorry :).

  • Is there a deleted scene including teenagers snape and lily potter? I haven't seen it so if you could give me a url, i'd be thankful.

  • I cannot find any deleted scene with Lily, not even in the dvd's extras. Sorry.

    =]

  • That's the deleted scene I really wanted to see, the one with Lily and James and Snape as teenagers :(

  • yes, that's what i mean. Can you find it???

  • No, I've typed in all the possibilities I can think of - none of them turn up anything :( !

  • its not deleted is it? i saw it in my version of the movie

  • In the film there is a scene with James and Sirius and Snape, but not with Lily. The deleted scene is with ALL of them. That's the one we can't find.

  • OK. But i'm sure there's one.

  • Hermiones hair is blonde on top

  • I love it... the end is amazing.

  • lol, rons not in the "mood"
