XTM XST Truggy T-Maxx Pro.15 and 3.3 R/C Bashing

@GameTheStation - It's 3 different cars: 1 XTM XST (stock), 1 T-Maxx pro .15 (aluminum chassis/bulkheads, extended 2.5 arms/axles, proline body), 1 T-Maxx 3.3 (stock).

So cal, Orange County. Google map "lampson and springdale" to find the track. North-west corner. Used to be a preschool.

no sh*t huh, i just bought a t maxx with a os15 R motor and i was tryin to find out if it was any good, but 7 years of running thats a beast

Yeah, it's not fast by today's standards, but it runs forever. If you want to upgrade I'd suggest an aftermarket tray with a cheap big block motor like the XTM 24.7. And go get the wide arms and bigger axles. It handles much better!

this kid has a t maxx with a os15R motor and im thinkin about that one, or he has a revo, but the revo's heat sink is broken off ( he says it works fine still )

well i'm not really new to nitro, ive been doing it about 2 years, i love xtm. I have an x-celelrator and im thinking about this one. All i got to do is sell this lawn mower i got out of the dumpster and im set =P

It seems to always be on sale (Since Thanksgiving 08) for $300. And it's definitely worth that. Just checked online and it's still $300. Also, xtm 20% nitro is $20/gal.

Hey there nice vid....I just got a XTM XST a week ago and wanted to ask you something...When you got yours was your rear suspension really soft? I have my shocks as tight as they will go yet im still bang the rear off the ground even on a 1 foot drop. Just want to know if you changed springs or anything?

Yeah, they are really soft in back for how much weight is there. I have mine cranked only 2/3 of the way, using the stock springs. It bottoms all the time and scratches the tray. It's setup like that as truggys are made for racing. You can adjust the shock mounts and get the black (stiff) springs and thicker fluid, but you might also upset the handling. If you are dedicated to bashing and jumping I suggest maybe a monster truck. Thanks for the comment!
