Awesome!! You should play a pokemon card game with the 3DS pointing at it so you can see all the pokemon in 3D at once. They should only fight when you choose your move with the 3DS, to see the animation, so you don't see them fighting all the time. Maybe the 3DS can calculate the damage and show it for every pokemon so you don't need damage counters anymore, so you never need to make your own damage counters because there are too few of them sometimes. :P

Pokemon 3D Pokedex (new 3DS game), is gonna support augmented reality. I 'm looking forward for future Pokemon versions. An alternate approximation could be, if the users wore glasses instead of holding their consoles. Imagine playing a real Pokemon battle in physical dimensions. A dream is coming true.

the 3ds has this technology, so for the next pokemon they should give you a pack of 150 pokemon cards, and when you capture a pokemon in the game, you should be able to then use that pokemon card for augmented battles! How awesome would it be.

This better be a feature for the 3DS. Something like a red pokeball AR card for player one and a blue one for player 2. Choose the pokemon you want to come out, and have AR battles!

But how are people supposed to use those things? Massive helmets? I remember years and years in elementary school kids used to play Pokemon outside at recess. I can't picture them doing that while staring a a tv screen or wearing bulky helmets.
