I can't believe Bereznovsky's performance. It was unbelievable from every standpoint.
It must be almost impossible to play all of these etudes in one sitting. Such strength he must have! and his technique is unbeleievable. But best of all, he creates music like no other pianist I've heard. He's one of the greats in my book
Not entirely my kind of music, but watching because I heard these were famously difficult. Damn I wouldn't want to run across that one in a rhythm game... impressive speed he's showing.
Lugansky has alld musicality and technique in da world. His musical judgement is also high .He will be in da highest catefory and he is sexier than any other russian pianisy on stage currently haha! Berezovsky is a powerful bear. but ...
I love Berevsky !!!! <3 I listen it all the time :D <3

MrNSheikh 11 months ago
@MrNSheikh It's Liszt's transcendental etudes. A human body is not made for it -- no wonder his body is overloaded.

@MrNSheikh Ya I think the one poster was right who said he was sweating so much because of the heat the stage lighting caused.

I wonder...don't the keys get all wet with him sweating like that? Seriously though, wouldn't it make your fingers slip?
Gmapchannel 2 years ago 3
well, it depends on the pianist. For example, i NEED to sweat when I'm playing... it depends on the pianist...

Good idea to upload the transcendental study N° 10 so well played by boris berezovsky.
I think it's now time to suppress the privileges of the greedy and stupid people who dominate the four majors in the music business!
sopoanga 3 years ago 25
Ahahaha, well said! :) I also love Berezovsky's renditions of the Liszt etudes, and am glad that there are more now :)

Left hand is a bit too strong in my opinion. Still an awesome performance, I'm just spoiled by Cziffra for this one.
