I had the priveledge of working with Robert in the year 2000 on set of "Magic of Marcianno". I played the "mexican bus boy". Robert is a truly educated, nice person. We had some good laughs ...great guy.
I thought Robert Forster did a fantastic job in "Delta Force" playing the lead terrorist. His was by far the best performance in the film (Abdul, I think). His facial reactions, in addition to the getting the accent down, should have gotten him a lot more praise.
Robert Forster has always been one of my favorite actors. I was very disappointed when he didn't win the academy award for JACKIE BROWN. I watch his TV shows (BANYON,NAKIA,SISCO,etc.) and films (VIGILANTE,MEDIUM COOL,ORIGINAL GANGSTAS,etc.) all the time. I first noticed him in the original "N.Y.P.D." TV series, guest starring as a brutal ,lethal, psycho soldier. Does anyone out there have this episode? I haven't seen it since the 1970's. Please post it on YOU/TUBE.

@millschapman Until I looked it up I thought Abdul was played by some other random Arab actor. Very convincing character.

@millschapman Your comment was right on target:Robert should have been nominated for an Academy Award for his portrayal of that scummy terrorist.
