i heard about this song a year ago from someone with depression and normally im such a happy person but today i had the worst day of my life by far i cant even describe how bad it was im literally depressed right now but this totally just made me feel better & i think everyone reading this should remember that everyone is gonna have crap to deal with in their life & the stuff that happens to you personally just happens to be the stuff YOU have to deal with but youre not alone with your pain

I think it is amazing that Justin and the band has used Justin's struggles to let other people know it is ok and that there is no shame in getting help. He has said in many interviews that he want's to take away the stigma associated with mental illness that keep people from getting help and that makes them suffer alone or ultimately harm themselves.

As a huge Blue October fan, and a small anaysis of this album, it definately has elements of Justin's fatherhood in it. Look at Blue Does, Blue Skies, Graceful Dancing*. For every pit, there's a mountain. This was a very happy song. It's a very good song, yet it is still pessimistic.
I'm now knocking it, it's just not what I've grown to love about them, i know that every band should have a diverse array of style, but just don't care for this one

I don't think this song is literally about jumping. It's not supposed to make you jump it just talks about the ups and downs you have in life.

this is our family theme song. we have several foster children and this song is so fitting for where their lives have been and how life is in general. it's better than a hot cup of coffee in the morning! can't wait to see you live again....

I wonder if these are genuine family home videos from the band. That makes this video a little better. Maybe the tapes are that old, late seventies clothes and all. Love seeing the song live better.
