The DVD you get with their Greatest Hits album that has the videos on it also has alot of footage on it from their tours arounfd this time and I'm prettty sure this is one of the gigs they play from that DVD. Yeah John has a lot of different guitars depending on what song they do but he's mostly in his tele for later songs, i forget what song i saw him do once, I think it was at a live 8 concert he had a black Gibson on for around the world i think but dont quote me on it but it definitaly was for one of the californication songs

Yeah, John uses mostly strats and teles, more strats though. He uses a black beauty Les Paul w/ 3 humbuckers in it for "Readymade" and "Fortune Faded." On around the world he doesn't use it though. He used to use his White Falcon on Californication, but I don't think he does anymore.

It's not so hard if you don't try to copy all the nitty gritty tricks Frusciante plays at a first try. I would recommend playing the outro just with simple chord changing first. Then when you get the idea of the rhythm, then you start adding his magic little by little.
