They cost more for less power, less customization, OS X is less secure than XP Vista and 7, a lack of software compatibility... I just can't think of any real objective reason...

Mine normally consist of the lack of security features on Mac, number of viruses growing rapidly (reported at ~10% a month), limited software capabilities, inflated price for hardware for no reason whatsoever, inability to upgrade to stay updated with newer better hardware.

@JGervstudios2011 PS3 and 360 both got the shitty versions of BF3. Games on a PC is objectively better than gaming on a console. (and fyi, battlefield a computer only title until the 7th iteration of the game and only 6 of the 19 versions of the battlefield series are available on console, so i'd hardly say that this game was made for consoles

The GPUs in Macs are all mobile GPUs, which already hinder them, and are not the best cards that AMD makes
IDK what you did to your computer, but i have never had to wait an hour for anything to open on my PC, and i've been using Windows since Windows 95.

Without that emulator or yours you CANNOT play it. Also that little converter is also a resource hog, whether you think so or not that conversion is taking up more resources to play the resources your computer needs.

I love these adverts.
I think this is true: They try to portay the "cool guy" as mac, but he is just sutffy and uptight about how 'awesome' mac is. Yet the stuffy and uptight windows guy is actually the funny/likeable one. Another flaw with apple - they make the competition look better in their own adverts.

@JGervstudios2011 PS3 and 360 both got the shitty versions of BF3. Games on a PC is objectively better than gaming on a console. (and fyi, battlefield a computer only title until the 7th iteration of the game and only 6 of the 19 versions of the battlefield series are available on console, so i'd hardly say that this game was made for consoles

@wilhamlin You call the highest and newest available Intel processor for notebooks and best AMD graphics card out dated? And no, I am not a gamer. I have a life but enjoy making songs and movies on the side, and surfing the web fast without waiting an hour for my internet browser to load. Mac's have a good FPS rate too. By the way Macs are easy to upgrade, Apple even has web pages showing you how.

@JGervstudios2011 Apple with the newest Intel processors? Although they do use the i5s and i7s, the versions they use aren't being stocked by newegg, compusa etc.
The GPUs in Macs are all mobile GPUs, which already hinder them, and are not the best cards that AMD makes
IDK what you did to your computer, but i have never had to wait an hour for anything to open on my PC, and i've been using Windows since Windows 95.

@JGervstudios2011 well the only upgrades i could find were for the RAM, HDD, graphics, and the batteries.
RAM is important, but pretty unexciting
HDD, not as important but still unexciting
GPU, the only Macs that can do this is the Mac Pro and there are still a very small number of cards that is compatible with this machine
Batteries, and at the very top of this part of the article it says, "warning, you will most likely not be able to replace this if you bought your laptop in the last 3 years"

@slyspy70 you can't play Battlefield 3 on a MAC OS because Battlefield 3 is not from steam and Battlefield 3 is a windows only game, which is only available for Vista and 7.

Want to know why I can play game boy games on a PC? because the Emulator Visual Boy advance allows me so.
Without that emulator or yours you CANNOT play it. Also that little converter is also a resource hog, whether you think so or not that conversion is taking up more resources to play the resources your computer needs.

Why does Apple always insist that the Mac has better software/hardware than a pc ? First of all mac's are pc's too ( personal computers) . And second , you can get everything that is in a mac computer , every little piece and part of it , and build a way cheaper "normal" pc out of it. And lets be honest mac's never had the advantage on software... the only thing they have is they're OS , other than that , SO very few companies even bother to make things for the Mac

@rebel8909 it's the HYPOCRICY that it's ok for apple to allow a windows o.s to be installed into THEIR world of harware through bootcamp or parallels but apple make it ILLEGAL to install any mac o.s. into a custom built pc that already has windows in it. that's the same kind of bullshit that treats us pons. it's ok for them to use OUR tax money to do things we are morally and politically and LAWFULLY against yet it's ok for them to get away with murder, rape, fraud. @AndrewDeLong you're talking about macs like they're toys... have you ever tried to use a mac?? trust me, you can't go back... it's the best operating system i've ever used for video editing, developing and organizing my media. there are only a few videogames but in the past few years there are so many games that came out for both pcs and macs. however i prefer my ps3 for videogaming... what can you do on a windows pc that a mac can't do??
