  • I don't know whether to categorize The Twilight Zone as being psychological or horror. I suppose it's supposed to have elements of both parties, but nonetheless, it is most likely one of the greatest shows in history.

  • My favorite episode is "What you need"

  • fuck I love the twilight zone, it's so psychological and interesting, it's my favorite tv show

  • This is all very entertaining, but do you want to see something real scary...

  • @TheWillyBe Yes!!! That scene still scares me!!!

  • Another great episode was the one with the talking ventriloquist doll.

  • I just had a twilight zone marathon using ths as a guide. thnx man

  • I agree. Walking Distance is my favorite episode as well.

  • I have a nine year old cousin that loves this show. Hence that this show is for all generations <3 They need more marathons on!

  • it would be awsome to see it in color just my opinion. kind of like the other dracula/mummie movies well if you kind if catch my drinft you sould be knowing what i am getting at.

  • My Top Two would be,

    1.) The Invaders

2.) The Eye of the Beholder

  • just saw "the silence" and it was brilliant

  • spikespace@ make that 289

  • Talking Doll and To Serve Man are my favorites.

     Walking Distance is good too.

  • Oh, and I also like the episode where these astronauts think they are in outer space but they realize they are actually in a desert on earth. I love the twilight zone. I've seen just about every episode.

  • I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the old school twilight zone!!! YES!!! My favorite one is the episode where this woman is terrified in her house because she keeps seeing this tiny astronaut in her house. I liked it because at the end of the episode, the astronaut and the lady realize that there are bigger or smaller people living in the universe and that they are actually not alone in space. Thinking about that episode ALWAYS makes me wonder if their are other beings that are much larger than us.

  • My selection : 1- Shadow play, 2- A world of difference, 3- Spur of the moment, 4-The last flight, 5- Eye of the beholder, 6- Person or persons unknow, 7- The after hours, 8- Stopover in a quiet town, 9- Time enought at last, 10- Five caracters in chearch of an exit

  • @TheGamerGforever, lol that's right 2012 not 2011.

  • I loved these episodes. You definitely picked many from the cream of the crop! The endings were awesome, too. *u* Great review. Just hearing that theme ditty made the nostalgia wash over me. Did you know they have a TZ marathon yearly on New Years'? It's on Sci-Fi. [sic, because "SyFy" looks retarded.]

  • Good job!! Loved it!

  • Night Gallery

  • Walking Distance is my favorite to...along with... Mirror Image The Hitchhiker The Grave In Praise of Pip And Then The Sky Was Opened... Shadow Play Two Mr. Denton on Doomsday Midnight Sun...to name a few...
  • Tina was Ur #2?! It wouldn't make my #13 let alone not my top 5! To each is own I get that. BTW it wasn't the FAM playin a trick b/c the lil twat threatened Mommie-Moms in the epilogue! Whats WORSE is that he actually SAID that he can sympathize with the guy!! Are we talkin about the SAME character?? I mean even in your CLIP U included how the sweet lil girl called him Daddy and he rejected it! There are step Dads who would PAY to hear that one word & NEVER get it. He can burn in hell WITH Tina!

  • I just LOVE Cinamassacre(.com) and I LOVE AVGN/critic as well as the genius and artist Mike and forgive the plug to the competition so hopefully he approves of/like this guy but also The Nostalgia Critic. Its SOO awesome b/c Im a firm believer that OUR nostalgia (I'm 31 so basically any 80s Baby and 'roughly' 90's TEEN - meaning if your childhood took place mainly in the 80s even if you werent' born RIGHT in the 80 like for example even if Ur born as far back as 75) OUR nostalgia is the BEST!

  • Nothing in the Dark - the most poignant episode of The Twilight Zone

  • Just saw Night of the Meek last night--that's such a good Christmas one.

  • I saw the pool episode today.

  • I like the one with the girl to be married to a bastard husband, but on a horse ride, finds a woman who is actually her older, trying to chase her down to prevent her from marrying him and being full of misery. Can't recall the name of it, anybody remember?

  • @9000Dogs Its called Spur of the Moment. It's one of my favorites as well. Esp. how the beginning monolouge almost completly matches the ending one.

  • robert englund AKA freddy krueger was actually a huge fan of this show .

  • #5 was parodied in Johnny Bravo.

  • @LucasCAPS not the corn again !

  • @nanalinda4 Hahaha, exactly.

  • Talking Tina scared me as a child and it stills do.

  • The Twilight Zone is undeniably one of the top five GREATEST television programs in history. There's no doubt about it.

  • @MalfunctionalHaywire what would you say are the other 4?

  • @writersblock91289 I really don't have a list for that. I was just implying that if there was ever going to be a universal list of the world's top five greatest television programs in history, The Twilight Zone should be among them hands down.

  • @MalfunctionalHaywire what are the other four?

  • @BlakeBarbieDoll Blake, you love the twilight zone, too?! YAY!!!

  • OMG my name is anthony

  • I so love when you do your little top 10 episodes from a serie like Twilight Zone or Tales from the Crypt. It's really cool! Don't stop here :D

  • However, its still an amazing episode.

  • I just watched Eye of the Beholder aaaaand, I totally predicted the ending. It was kinda obvious since they wouldn't show tlanyone elses face.

  • 'The Midnight Sun' was a good one.

  • I watched Walking Distance for my American Cinema class in college. Amazing episode and was really glad to see it make your top choice. Definitely a benchmark Twilight Zone episode, showcasing what it does best.

  • Number 5 is so disturbing in its own ways, it's insane. It's so nerve-wracking it's crazy. It's also incredibly-written. In general, it's a great episode. One of my favorite episodes of any TV show ever.

  • I went to Netflix to watch "Eye of the Beholder", and...man, you just will not BELIEVE it.

  • 8, 7, 6, and 1 are some of my favorites too! I haven't seen the rest, except for 2, which absolutely scared the fucking shutout of me. Talking dolls are just not my thing. I had to watch it with my boyfriend; if I'd watched it alone I'd probably have gone crazy.

  • Oh my God........@10:14

  • 05:21 = FALCON PUNCH !!!!!!

  • FUCK TWILIGHT WATCH TWILIGHT ZONE!

  • Personally, my favorite episode episode was A Most Unusual Camera. My second favorite was The Midnight Sun, and the rest I pretty much agree with you.

  • I've probably only seen 35 or 40 episodes of this show, but I do have to agree that Walking Distance was probably my favorite episode. It's a great little story, and the theme is extremely relateable. All around a great show, from what I've seen.

  • The Twilight Zone is amazing!

  • I was lucky enough to see living doll on syfy and it blew my mind!

  • "To Serve Men" episode scarred me for life.

  • Has anyone seen the episode where grandmothers are been massed produced for the sole purpose of being there and taking care of kids without mothers? They're totally indestructable. They can't get hurt or die. I don't think they even can ever get sick. I saw this episode last night on the scifi channel.

  • @Gamefan113 Yes, I've seen that one a number of times--it's called "I Sing the Body Electric".

  • When the Sky Was Opened.

How did that not make it?

  • *Anything* with a fucking living doll is automatically creepy.

    No exceptions.

  • They say the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled, was convincing the world he didn't exist

  • @MegaAchilles23 God damn it, where have I heard this...

  • @FlyingRat1 Is that sarcasm? Anyway, I think it was "The Usual Suspects"

  • @MegaAchilles23 Not at all. I've read/heard that somewhere, and I can't put my finger on it. It's not that though, I haven't seen it.

  • @MegaAchilles23 In fact, it may well have been. I haven't seen it, but that's the only movie I can find on Google that references it. Thanks.

  • @10:12 with the clown: is that the episode where there's like an astronaut, a clown, and other unrelated characters are all trapped in a windowless room? I remember that one as having such a clever but simple twist it became one of my all-time favorites

  • Making a modern Twilight Zone series called 'The Devil's Own Tapevault of Horror' on our channel. Super campy- check it out

  • oh and the one w/ the the pupet that talks and the guys inside the tv that see us

  • My name is commy comentor and I'm going to kill you

  • dude i love these but you shoul say which season, which epidsode.. wow. i love this show

  • If I was going to pick one it would be the one were the old woman is afraid to leave her apartment because Death is lingering around. She lets a wounded cop in who turns out to be Death but the ending is not bad because Death doesn't want her to be afraid but to accept her own passing.

  • @schizoidboy can you plz tell me which episode.

  • @schizoidboy I remember that one. Robert Redford was the wounded cop.

  • hmm does it get any better than this show?..... i think not

  • @rode2fame Telly Savalas. was also Kojak and Blofeld from James Bond.

  • That doll creeps the hell out of me

  • "I'm not your daddy!" XD

  • @TheSecondR im sure there is when bart gets the crusty doll but i cant remember :D

  • Isnt there a simpsons episode that parodies the living doll?

  • @SirExtravagant

No but one Halloween episode parodies the kid with abnormal powers, Bart dreams he has powers and he turns Homer into a jack in the box :D

  • @SirExtravagant There had been several Twilight Zone episodes that have been parodied in the Treehouse of Horror episodes. "Hungry are the Damned," "Homer Cubed" and "Clown Without Pity" are a few examples.

  • @ShredderzGirl Cool i dont know the episodes by there name though :D im not exactly a huge simpsons fan.

  • i remember in the 5th grade i watched an episode of the twilight zone in english class and at the time i was thinking that "oh black and white this will suck" but it was the episode with the 2 little men came to this womens house form another planet and with the twist ending it blew my mind because i had neer seen anything so well crafted like that before, this is arguably one of the best shows of all time

  • @skatertom5678 YES!!! That is my FAVORITE episode!! It is one of those episodes that will really have you thinking and questioning stuff lol!

  • "Everybody at some time wants to go back to their past."

I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE.

  • What is episode at 10:17? Looks scary.

  • @goldenglock1 The Invaders

  • 1. Seinfeld

    2. Twilight zone

    3. The walking dead

  • Much better than all of the crap that they're putting out now.

  • Interesting top 10.

But, no "James Kirk" fighting gremlins on airplanes?

or A Jumbo jet going back in time to see dinosaures living in NYC?

"To serve man" also is a classic plot twist. Be wary of visting aliens for dinner.

  • My favorite show of all time!

  • Mine is definately

    To Serve Man ...

    It's

    Its A COOKBOOK

  • 8eye of the beholder was the first twilight zone episode i ever saw

  • man that guy must of ran 88 miles per hour to go back in time

  • Good day

    Very good choices!

I have yet to see the 1st 3 you mentioned, but the others I agree, with 1 exception,no 2...

"In Praise of Pip", & ??The Trumpet?? Jack Klugman plays a suicidal Jazz trumpeter who gets a final chance to play like a champ thanks to (Archangel Gabriel) "Gabe"

The others I agree in same order...yes the "Good Life" ep was creepy.

Mr Serling was a Korean war vet...the war changed his worldview.

He incorporated his views on society of his day through the episodes.

    A BIG fan!

  • the guy who made up this show came from my home city haha

  • I enjoyed this :D

  • ohoh or heres a good one thats more modernized a man wants to be a woman and it happens and he's sent back to 1930 where he has no rights,

  • Ah the twilight zone where if a man wants to be a millionare he gets it, and is the most wanted bankrobber in the world so he can never enjoy his money or a man wants to be immortal so he's turned into a mountain that last forever or a murderer wants a chance to better the world so he ends up getting hunted down and killed to make the world have one less murderer.
