Not really. The Flintstones aired from 1960 to 1966. This is not a "1950's cigarette commercial..."

It aired on Friday Nights, at 8:30pm on ABC, and the audience was mostly adults. It was a prime-time show.

Not on Saturday morning when kids cartoons aired.

Back then, parents would actually PARENT and not allow kids to watch certain shows.
