  • so where is the police brutality? I didn't see anyone get beat or tazed....arresting someone is not police violence....enforcing the law is not police violence...plain simple fact is you guys are soft pussies.

  • @bigpoppa12311 If you don't call dragging a girl by her neck Police Brutality then I guess there is no point discussing anything with you. I even slowed it down for people like you so it is cyrstel clear but don't worry about it. I'll leave you to your name calling and ignorance instead.

  • If you all are looking for work, McDonalds is hiring. You all make America look weak. Quit crying over spilled milk and just become a politician if you want things to change. That's how our forefathers made this country.

  • @deganlink 1) the vast majority of occupiers held jobs. 2) there are not even close to enough openings at Mcdonalds for the large number of unemployed. Get a clue.

  • Why am I not surprise people who deny brutality bash liberals and hippies, even if they were disobeying commands there's not excuse.

  • Hippies should leave arizona

  • That's bullshit it is obviously a peaceful protest. this gentleman is solely responsible

no one else can be held accountable for these police officers hostile actions against public if this occurs you simply cannot shirk y our responsibility and throw any variables against peaceful protesters, there are no variables to the truth it just is.

  • You naive, arrogant, ignorant liberals. The police are enforcing the law, the Constitution clearly states that if you are warned to move away, it is an unlawful gathering. They warned the protesters, who didn't listen. Before you idiots call them pigs, put yourself in their shoes; a bunch of people outside past curfew illegaly camping in a park. Two laws broken, and disturbing the peace.

  • Fuck every cop that is involved in the violation of our Constitutional Rights!!! In every Occupation, it has been the police who have been violent. Everytime the police show up, the violence occurs! Who is there to police the police? They roam around like gangs of thugs with complete immunity!

  • Our friend from New York is right.

  • For all of my friends of Occupy Phoenix! We at Occupy Wall Street understand how the police could become a hindrance to your effort to get your voices heard. The people at Occupy Wall Street are proud of your determination to make your voices heard despite police resistance! If the police become a persistent problem then investigate any possible contribution to their funds by banks and multinational corporations. God bless you and may peace be with you always!

  • @VerseInfinitum Thanks for your support. The Police are a distraction to the work being done. I do understand they are part of the 99% however most of the laws they enforce are to protect and serve the 1%. We need to legally observe all interactions and activity concerning them and hold them accountable.

  • @Humanleague002 You're right about that. Although most police officers do what they're told, however they don't have to be mean to the people. If such circumstances persist, I'll try to find out if the Phoenix Police Department have a foundation and find out if any banks or large corporations contributed to this foundation. Then once you find out the facts, then expose it like a billboard! They'll think twice after that. Keep up the good work buddy!

  • @VerseInfinitum We've probably got more DEA, FBI, ICE, HLS and assorted Special Police forces, media hungry Sheriff's then anywhere in the USA. Az. is ridiculous. You can't drive 5 miles with out seeing at least one law enforcement person. if I don't find out first someone will ID the officer. The issue will be (or was today) up at the next City council meeting as well. He should be disciplined at the minimum but it's also up to the victim whom I hope to speak to soon.

  • Such gestapo tactics. they look like storm troopers from the death star. of course Phoenix PD needs to arrest people on the very first day. wouldn't be arizona if police REPRESSION wasn't the first tactic used by the pigs.

  • @mdpinate Pigs? Gestapo? Storm troopers. So naive it hurts, if they where Gestapo, everyone would be killed. Storm troopers? They'd kill everyone. They were disturbing the peace, they were outside past curfew, and they were illegaly camping in a park.

  • @reven676 Actually, you are the one who's being naive. We are in the middle of a revolution. This is the end of the Capitalist Global Empire. It doesn't really matter whether you are on board or not. The shift in consciousness is going to happen with or without your support. I know its hard for you to understand or have faith that a better more compassionate way of life of possible, but IT IS. Hang in there reven676, you'll catch on soon enough. How can you say no to Love?

  • @reven676 Agreed! This is not brutality! They were removing people from the line who were disobeying commands. We can't hear what they are saying to that woman- she refused to move, they moved her. Brutality? Please, they moved her across the line. Was she kicked? Hit? Sprayed? Nope. Quit overreacting!

  • "As long as the community is peaceful, there shouldn't be any issue" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA right.

  • Right off the bat, he's lying! Can everybody say POLICE STATE? Disgusting!

  • That cop represents everything I hate about Arizona

  • Great Vid Dennis!

  • What does "keeping the peace" mean?

  • @NewRobinHood123 - In this case, "keeping the peace means" repressing the people so that the elites can "keep their peace" (and their piece too).

  • Watching that young woman being pulled back by the neck (under mandible) looks not only painful, but possibly deleterious.

  • @loritucson Mo was ok... the police pushed her down into the ground and put their knees into her back.... police hormones were flowing... they were the first two taken but the cameras were rolling so they slacked off on her. the young man was taken to a private parking lot and ruffed up real bad the police. no cameras rolling there. I told her to offer no resistance. we'll just eat up their budget putting people in jail. Let's see how they like it when their money is taken away.

  • Only the required amount to keep the peace? That was a fuck load of officers. Guess I have something to look forward to this next thursday and friday.

  • @dotmadhack = Yeah, it's called POLICE STATE. With your tax dollars and mine. Gotta love the irony though, our tax dollars pay for the cops to repress us and defend the elites that exploit us.

  • this vid is intense

  • good work guys!

  • Well if thanking our group f or being civil is oppression, I guess I am lucky I didn't end up in jail with bruises for thanking him for helping our cause by directing traffic.

  • I spoke with the striped shirt cop after this video was filmed, during the march toward the park. I politely thanked him for shutting down the streets so we could orderly march to the park. In return he thanked me (us) for being such a great, peaceful group, and making it a great day for the police. I don't believe antagonizing the police has any great purpose. They are, after all, the 99% as well and are, for the most part, just doing their job.

  • @cowgirlchrissy - TO SHRUG OFF police violence by saying that officers are just “doing their job”, is to ignore the fact that their job is to OPPRESS!
