Howdy Mr. John, could you give me some sort of advice to play like you did in this video? I really like the sound and I might try do do this with our old John Deere Model A.
Nice. Love how the old engines can be slowed down. My fathers Gardner diesel could be slowed down to a point that you could count the individual cylinders firing. Of course then he tells stories about "Puffin' Bill" the stationary one lunger his father had when he was a kid. Old machines talk so I'm not surprised to hear them "sing".
This is a 1933 National Duolian, a resonator guitar, a mechanically amplified instrument invented in the late 1920's.. It has a "speaker-cone" inside giving it a greater volume!! And a cool bluesy tone!! Thanks for watching!!
Brilliant! Who would have thought there would such a great blues guitarist so far from the Mississippi delta? But I kept worrying you were going to hit the belt with your elbow...
Hey John..crazy stuff..I love it. There where two tractors loaded on a ship here in Halifax and I believe they where headed your way so I hope you find them and do acouple of new vids. watch for them...I'll post the vid today!

That tractor sounds like one healthy machine. Same goes for the Duolian.
