Russell is WAY overrated. The Hidden Immunity Idols were POORLY hidden. Russell would've been fcked if they had operated with the exile island. Also, not a very good social game. Coattailing works. Sandra won with it. TWICE (she didn't really coattail hardcore either season, but...). But I gotta hand it to Russell, he did do the most strategy in Samoa, but not all of it was successful further down the road.

...also he got too much airtime. We didn't get to know anyone else, that's the problem.

there was a crucial moment in the game. the first vote after the merge where natalie was the one who turned the game. russell couldn't do it. she did it. if not for that they were dead.

The jury often doesn't vote for the best player. The jury vote is often nothing, but a popularity contest. In the past 2 seasons the best players Russell and Parvati have gotten screwed.

In tribal council, you had to choose who you (did not) vote because it would increase your chances of winning.Thats the motivation for carefully considering your vote.You had to make a logical choice.

But whats the motivation for voting for someone when you're in the jury? What makes you consider properly who wins? Nothing. For all we know, the jury could have no opinions or not cared a heck and eeny meeny miny moed the winner and that would be the season champ.

If the majority of the jury members are villians he will have a great chance at winning because they would have pulled the same tactics as russel did. He just mastered it. He just needs to tone it down and be more humble when he talks to the jury. But and keep the honesty about the lies you told, but just don't be to harsh. Straight shooter.

Ithink the new batch is not going to roast russel about his tactics because this next batch are true game players. I don't know how in the hell SUGAR got casted. And they get dirty just like he does, he is just VERY smart about it. And they will respect him more because he found three idols on his own. He manipulated people. It depends on who is on the jury. If it is mostly the villians on the jury. They will respect his game play.

Believe it or not, the Samoa jury gave him kid-glove treatment. These guys, though, are juvie hall punks, not Sunday school kids. So I doubt they'd be any forgiving.

Mind you, All-Star juries have no tolerance for meritocracy when it happens at their expense. B-Rob, Ozzy and James should know this.

One way or another, he'll find himself running head-first into a runaway 18-wheeler.

1) He'll probably take out said people as early as possible, thereby not giving him much chance with the jury.

2) If he's left with less dangerous people in the merge (aka Coach, Coutrney, Danielle), I doubt they'd think the same way, especially if they get their feelings hurt. This even takes into consideration their personalities as well.

3) There are spoilers. 'Nuff said.

Mind you, these guys are hard-asses and should he reach the finals again with his antics, THAT jury is going to drive a big rig up his ass. They are so not going to be pleased. He was lucky that the last bunch went easy on him. This time, he won't be let off the hook that fast.

If Russell can't gain jury votes, he should take a hike. The point of Survivor is to beat the competition yet do so in such a way that you gain your competition's votes. For that, Rich, Chris, Yul, Todd, Parvati and JT are way ahead of him.

In HvV, should Russell get to the end again, I bet that the jury there will make the Samoa jury look generous and the new Russ-Slayer will make Natalie look more deserving than said winner.
