@Ontarioku77 beats me. if it could have been a piece of clothing or maybe one of their puck launchers then canard wouldn't have to had sacrificed himself. maybe they were originally thinking it has to take some kind of living matter instead of just matter, that would have more sense of canard's sacrifice...other wise they could have just thrown it a shoe
