Kentuckians aren't as ignorant as you think, Rand Paul. There are unemployed Republicans and Republicans without healthcare, people mightily pissed off by ignorant statements by Jim Bunning and his ilk. Try telling them that unemployment just encourages them not to look for work.
Rand Paul's message is that unless there is a huge reduction in government spending, foreign adventures and printing money, the US economy will collapse. At that point, the level of unemployment will remain persistently high for years. Healthcare is too expensive because of the government intervention already in play. The healthcare bill would temporarily benefit a few, but only like a wage rise via union demands is useful until the purchasing power of money is reduced via inflation.
You have no idea what it means to support the troops. Right now we lie to our soldiers on their deployment missions, we pay them crap, we overextend our military, morale is low, and then we send them on missions where we don't constitutionally declare the war and there is no clear objective or exit strategy. Yeah, by that standard we really support our troops in this country. If by supporting them you mean spitting on them. Rand Paul wants to protect our men and women and give them respect.

Furthermore, I've read her book and am familiar with her career. She had no choice but to resign. She was making great progress there until opponents (probably originating in DC) decided to destroy her with bogus ethics charges, lawsuits and all the rest.

I think it is a campaign to lower peoples expectations of politicians, Bush was dumb, and now Palin is dumber. It is damn near a joke.
I'm quite disappointed to see Palin in this ad. I feel that American people see this too and it's partially one of the reasons why I believe McCain lost.

Palin is a black mark on Rand's Campaign. She is a kook that has sunk one political campaign already. Her utter lack of personal integrity became apparent when she abdicated responsibility for serving the duration of her term of Office as Governor of Alaska. Rand needs to scrutinize these offers of support or more Trojan Horse endorsements will defeat him before the ballots are counted.

On the contrary, Palin saved McCain from annihilation. I seem to remember McCain/Palin being ahead in the polls until the economy blew up and the market went down 777 points.
Furthermore, I've read her book and am familiar with her career. She had no choice but to resign. She was making great progress there until opponents (probably originating in DC) decided to destroy her with bogus ethics charges, lawsuits and all the rest.

Palin is a sideshow. Anybody with intelligence knows this. Her interviews are atrocious and she blatantly doesn't know what she is talking about the majority of the time. She was unable to name a single magazine she reads, she got caught writing notes on her hand and she thinks that America can "drill baby drill" their way out of dependence on foreign oil. I think it is a campaign to lower peoples expectations of politicians, Bush was dumb, and now Palin is dumber. It is damn near a joke.

I'm quite disappointed to see Palin in this ad. I feel that American people see this too and it's partially one of the reasons why I believe McCain lost.
But whatever, it's not like McCain would be much different from Obama.

Gimme a break, Palin had no choice but to renege on a pledge to serve the people that elected her to Office because... she says so?
I don't recall a time ever when McCain was ahead in polls. You can choose to ignore the only valid poll, the election, if you want.
If all those suits and charges are bogus, why did she run so quickly from facing them? You forgive to easily and forget too quickly.
