  • Alot of folks don't realize how important a filter is to a synthesizer's character....just saying. In an analog context (unless it's based on a predecessor) every filter is unique.

  • SUPER COOL!

  • Video description link for schematic is dead... would love to see the schematic.

  • pretty sick dude!

  • dude I love your design, but your site is down, any chance you can mail me the schematics ?

  • ah... the plague of the anxious...just throw that thing together and get the fu@kin' ball rollin', afterall, the evolution of the mind into humankind is just what it thought it needed to do.

  • clap clap clap

  • needs more resonance

  • crap, you need a case for your synth.

    That's sick.

  • that filter sounds amazing, are there vst versions of filters like that?

  • haha sweet!!!

    Raymond Scott would be proud!

  • This must be _the_ cheapest looking Tangerine Dream cover band ever ;)

  • o man.. my pots never stay on the breadboard.. i cant even imagine.. but anyway great synth how much did the parts run you?

  • so many pots.

  • hey how is the sequencer controlled?

nice job bro might give it a shot in class.

  • Cool! Looks like something Mr. Spock would build if trapped in the 20th Century...

    ***** from *****

  • Pretty Fresh!!!

  • It sounds really good, the filters are awesome sounding. It's amazing to think a minimoog wil cost you thousands of pounds but you can make it yourself for a fraction of that, and even build upon it.

  • @metabog by the time you build a case and make stable musical oscillators with a keybed, you've actually spent a lot of time and money. if your not a keyboard player than I guess this type of thing is enough to accomplish your goals.

  • direct to my favorites

  • damn. well played bro

  • that's fantastic.

i am shit at making synths, if i could get something to sound like that...god!

totally giving it a shot, but i will be very surprised if i can get it to work ;)

  • 1:51 sounds like on the run

  • Talking about one making his own samples.. this guy is making his own synthesizer :D GJ! Btw are you into DSP and uControllers? 5/5 This thing gave me a lot of insight :)

  • Nice job, any chance of sharing the filter schematics?

    .........:-)

  • @squidfanny

Designing a filter is so simple that if you cant figure it out you shouldn't get to brag about it. Try google or wikipedia, want a few hints: state variable, sallen key, transistor ladder.

  • I like this. Maybe I'll create one too. :)

  • thats alot of resistors

  • I'm goonna try this guy out soon. amazing sequencer by the way. you're seriously in high school?

  • Jeeze thats awesome, where did you learn that?

  • Take it easy on the pot...s

  • amazing!!

  • now thats alarge ammount of of rheostats

  • schematic pllllleeeeaaaasssseeeeeee

  • oh my god... so cool.

please oh please oh please post the schematic.

  • excellent! i like it!! it's so cool!

    space invaders are back ^^

  • It looks like a dissected animal. Love it.

  • Very nice. The filters sounds great too.

  • great filter where did you get the schematic?

    it sounds awsome. great job!!

  • brainfuKK deluxe :D

  • Very cool. I'm learning how to do stuff with bread boards and so on in my computer engineering class. I hope I could make this some time in the future.

  • Nice :)

  • excellent work!
