@mailtoharshit Big brother, you do have a point,but you see there's no other lecture series as exhaustive on Youtube as this NPTEL series.I must tell you that I know European students who use NPTEL lectures even though accent etc is an issue...What you say may be true for other NPTEL lectures, but this Srinath,IITB's Arvind Ranade are accessible & worth the time..& plz dont say "every other guy in IT"...Not many are IITB grads & MS from UA,TX...Most students are average!!Cheers.

I finished my MS from University of Austin, Texas. I personally should say, lecturers in IIT are way behind in communication skills then professor here, I finished bachelors in CS from IITB while attending there I learned IIT prof seriously lack communication and presentation like wise any other desi do. In addition, work culture, research culture and desi professor presentation skill needs serious homework.

Dr.srinath is MS from IIT Madras. He did PHD from BSRT germany.

His published papers from 2002 which probably means he completed his PHD in 2002.

from his examples of student entity roll number(2003CSExyz) and 256 MB pen drive cost of 3000 implies he taught this course in 2003. Before 2002 period almost all the programs in germany were in german lang. most probably he must have taught this course just after returning from germany.

Yes. When I read my db-book there were many concepts that I wasnt enable to understand, but your videos helped me to clarify those.
