Fantastic choice of song to round off what was a ground breaking piece of drama; in your face realism at its very finest, and something that you are only ever going to get on C4.

On the downside, wtf happened with C4's continuity and marketing, whereby they did not announce after the first episode that the second part was on the following night!!!! This cannot have done the ratings any good, and was a major own goal by those at the top.

Fionn Regan deserves a bigger audience- magical voice from this extremely talented Irish singer/ song writer... This is England 88 has introduced his talent to us all... I must admit the 3 episolde series was great telly drama- the acting was top class- the message of suffering, friendship and love was told in an extremely well crafted story- the chap who played Woody deserves every TV award going for his outstanding performance... At the end when he sat and hugged Loll was so moving- I cried
