great tutorial man. But when you were using 3ds max, i didn't have the toolbar at the bottom where you added the background image etc.. i'm using the 2010 edition so i'm not sure whether it doesn't have the toolbar at all or if i just can't find it. Please help

This was not a very well put together tutorial, yes it covers what you did but you say some things are too advanced for the audience watching and then you assume that they can animate and render films. A tutorial is step by step to hold the hands of those you are helping. If this was just for a mask in Blender it was dragged on for a long time. Other then that great job.

You don't import, you load background image by clicking on:

View > Background Image

Then choose your background image.

And if you're talking about the spider model, you have to import it under a certain format.

Though I can't speak from personal experience, I've heard that 3D Max is easier to learn to use. However, I'm fairly certain this will also work with any 3d program, the commands and stuff will just be different, but the concept is the same.

Concept is the same, but programs are not. 3ds max is much more complicated. Knowing how to work pro in 3ds max with "little" creativity, u can do everything. Of course, knowing all adobe packet as well.

just a note, you said to export as quicktime to export video, but there is the FFMPEG option too, with alot more options to choose from (including audio muxing, serveral file formats, ...). Its much more versatile.

ICT GCSE doesn't help you computer wise. A majority of it is writing reviews. We got told to design a "chill ouit room", we would make the design etc, make a floorplan. But most of the marks were how well you wrote about it, such as writing a review of what you did.

I myself am good on computers, I know I am, but I also know I failed ICT, simply because it doesn't stretch your ICT Skills. Things such as floorplans etc, shouldn't be in ICT they should be in architecture. Any other questions?

Hi guys, I've got a bad problem right here and i hoped that someone could help me. Well i was trying to make a Title with After Effects CS3, i probably changed some settings but nothing happend yet, i was just messing around to make a title.. but when i closed my After Effects and I started it up again i couldn't see my text, so i pressed the type tool to type again, but even if i type i can't see it, it is not the color or something, it's just Invisible.
