United defended the worst i have ever seen on a freekick and gerrard had a simple goal by just putting it between the defenders who were the 'wall' and the keeper was where he should be and therefore out of the way to save it..

LOL by your rationale the shot would have been a good one even if Fletcher hadn't moved and the shot had struck the wall. The simple fact is that the goal resulted from something United did bad, not something Gerrard did good. United make a lot of mistakes defending set pieces, another good example is when they allow goals on corner kicks due to not having both posts marked, like Robben's super striker in Champion's League last year.

Are you joking, it was a poorly taken free kick by Gerrard, the only reason it went in is because Fletcher stupidly broke off from the wall. If he had stayed put where he was the ball would've hit him in the chest instead of going through the hole where he should have been.
