I'm afraid that many people, while thinking that 9/11 was a terrible and horrific event, do see a connection between it and decades of American Imperialism throughout the rest of the world. The American military has killed thousands of civilians, both before and after 9/11. America cannot pretend it has not done what others know it has done.
I think the media has distorted Wright's message to make it sound different than it really is when heard in context like this. His point with the "chickens" comment was that if America's elected officials do evil in the world, then evil will come back on us.

I'm afraid that many people, while thinking that 9/11 was a terrible and horrific event, do see a connection between it and decades of American Imperialism throughout the rest of the world. The American military has killed thousands of civilians, both before and after 9/11. America does itself, and others, a disservice when it is unwilling to admit that it has made fundamental mistakes in its treatment of weaker nations. America cannot pretend it has not done what others know it has done.

Matter of fact, only time I've heard of innocent loss of life is either an accident or family members of a real-deal killer/insurgent. Here in the states, we prosecute family members as accessories if they had knowledge. I think reading my profile will do a lot of good. I am actually borderline atheist/agnostic. I don't believe in organized religion and I think it is all a load of shit, personally. However, I try to have respect for other's religion and I know a great deal about religion and can tell a false prophet from a minister speaking the truth when it comes to social issues and injustice.
I just don't believe that we should judge a politician by their religious beliefs.

The US only wanted unconditional surrender, and the Japanese wanted to surrender under the condition that they get to keep their emperor who is a national symbol. The Media credibility will forever be shot(see NPC interview). It's amazing, I heard the whole sermon. Dr. Wright also expressed love, because your days not promised. After I heard the sermon I wanted to call my brother who I haven't talked to in over a month because he did something to me that caused me not to forgive him. Wright's outrageous statements made to the NAACP and the Press Club on Monday morning. He didn't prove the improbability of the "heinous and immoral acts" he claims were committed by the American Government. Now, the burden on Obama to further disavow the hate speech of his "former" pastor is heavy.

I went Sunday to the JB center in Pasadena, Cal because they want people to vote for candidates wanting to be demc. delegates to Denver. My God, what an eye opener. First of all they deliberately did not publicize that delegates are being elected to represent us. The delegate candidates just called their friends to come and vote them in. Secondly, declaring yourself as Obama delegates does not mean anything since when you go to the August event, you can change to Hillary if you want to. Corrupt!
