If you know anything about trucks you already know diesel is the only way to go! My diesel crew cab 4x4 truck will get about 26mpg driving 60 on the highway and 22mpg at 70-75! Its no little bmw. You think they could do better! As far as cars go they should all be diesel, like the jetta TDI. That's a bad A car. 45mpg can't beat that without batteries.
