  • Whatever helps you with God, do it, but reading the word of God gives me the best experience. I don't about all the extras like speaking in tounges. Like Paul said, if you don't have an interperter, don't bother. Speaking in tounges should be for edifying the church not for self.

  • Beautiful!!!!!

  • Is it any wonder that someone would speak in tongues? Would you have the same adverse discussion had someone been healed? Raised from the dead? Saved? No Christian should be amazed by these, for Jesus said they would be done, and greater things would we do in His name. Christians are told that they only should be amazed/rejoice that your name is written in the Book of Life.

  • kim walker smith really gets lost sometimes, but wow. i want to do that too.

  • her passion and fire puts me in awe. I feel like heaven follows her everywhere she goes. (:

  • to all who would cause decension either for or against the tongues issue consider theses words Jas 3:13 Who [is] a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. Jas 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. jas 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, devilish.

  • love it

  • Que unção de Deus!

  • Finally, some worshippers who sing in tongues and in spirit! My heart is filled with joy and immediately my spirit is lifted! Praise you Jesus, all glory to you Lord. x

  • My church likes to sing Jesus Culture songs and yet is forbidding me to speak in tongues in church as part of my prayer language and worship. I don't think they know that Kim Walker speaks in tongues herself for purposes of personal edification and overflow of the Spirit. I am having to leave my church because I cannot deny worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth. My fellow believers, please stop this division! My heart is broken...denominations = division. When will we learn...

  • @PaulofTexas26

    1 Corinthians 14:39

King James Version (KJV) 39Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

--It is unbiblical to forbid speaking in tongues. Suppressing the manifestions of the Spirit is an attack against the Holy Spirit and the believers He manifests through. I pray you find an assembly that embraces tongues and is biblically sound in its other doctrines as well. :)

  • to praise You Lord is to love You...You are an awesome God...i love you Lord....love love love love You! thank you for today! Thank You God! Jehova Jira ...Prince of Peace...ALMIGHTY ....GLORY TO YOU ALONE LORD!!

  • her heart for worship really inspires me to press in deeper :)

  • very enjoyable to hear a worship just continue in God's presence... nicely done..

  • Like this very much!

  • @buzzdidit007 How can you lead people to worship God, if you've already judged them according to their sins? Are you free from sins? Did Jesus tell you that only the good ones are allowed to worship Him? There's time for everything. there's time for forgiving of sins. Jesus is only interested on a corporate worshippers and not on our sins during the worship!!!

  • epic.

  • Amen It is what it is.

  • WORSHIP IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT, IT COMES FROM THE HEART AND SHOULD BE DONE WITHOUT HOLDING BACK, IF THE SPIRIT OF GOD MOVES YOU TO ABANDON YOUR FLESH AND DO THINGS IN THE SPIRIT ,WHO DO YOU CHOOSE TO OBEY ? GOD OR YOURSELF? TAKE A MOMENT AND THINK ABOUT THIS. WE WERE MADE SPIRIT, BODY AND SOUL WE MIGHT AS WELL WORSHIP IN ALL 3 OF THEM. IT IS SCRIPTURAL "LOVE GOD WITH MIND BODY AND SOUL" ALL I CAN SAY IS PRAY THAT GOD WILL REVEAL THE TRUTH TO YOU. LOVE FROM YOUR BROTHER IN CHRIST

  • The purpose of putting that video was not to discuss songs in other languages, and it is always a CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS, judging just that.

To look at it, Worship, spotting God, if it is in other languagesor not the important thing is that God is being magnified.

    Aleluiaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Instead of debating what we think we understand of God's ways, how about "make way for His Presence" ? I know there are some areas I see through a glass darkly, I just want to make way for the King in my life. I want to follow hard after Him. You can't do that arguing, I promise you that.

  • This bring TEARS TO MY EYES. If every church could have this connection and BOLDNESS!

  • I absolutely agree. this is what worship should be. uninhibited

  • Let God decide what is of Him and not of Him... I promise you if someone is wrong... He will take care of it. Personally, I like to be able to worship Him in whatever manner that I feel comfortable with. It does not mean that everyone will agree with it. In fact as Christians we know and expect to be attacked verbally even by other Christians that do not understand. I only have to answer to my Lord Jesus! Thank you Lord! I love and praise YOU for who YOU are. I do not listen to human voicings.

  • Mmmm... =/

It saddens me that, one way or another, some form of theological debate arises out of anything and everything these days. I don't understand the compulsion to having to prove your point, or to be "right". The fact is, you aren't going to change anyone's mindset on a video discussion.

How about just putting all that aside for a bit and just take it for what it is; people worshipping God and enjoying His presence =)

  • @MURDERwithDRUMsticks Amen! Very well said! Ppl just love Him and thise who dont pray for them!

  • @MURDERwithDRUMsticks You just shut it down with this statement!!! I so agree with you and I know I couldn't have said it better. case closed! God bless you!!

  • Sorry =(...was just trying to have a conversation..didn't mean to offend anyone =)....God Bless!

  • here is the deal open your mouth & worship ,

  • This is worship of and to God. I believe this is the heart of worship that God is seeking. Pure vertical worship

  • love her worship but its like under every praise video there has to be someone arguing don't be religious and just enjoy and praise the lord

  • love her worship but its like under every praise video there has to be some arguing don't be religious and just enjoy and praise the lord

  • This is EXACLY what worship is!

  • Wow!!! can feel that great anointing!!! ..whoa..! flow!!!

  • May all Glory be to God!!! He is great and worthy to be praised! Don't argue about anything. As Christians we are ALL children of God. We are to worship our true King from the bottom of our hearts AS ONE. God is so good! Thank you Jesus for all that you've done :) I can never explain how grateful I am. Jesus loves you!

  • stop arguing and sing

  • ahhh selah....

  • Kim Walker however does not only sing in tongues...and she didn't sing in tongues the entire song. There are certain times when the spirit moves and sometimes even the singers need to to receive their blessing. I understand perfectly what the apostol was saying in 1 Corinthians but I just dont think it really applies here....just my opinion....I love JesusCulture =) !!

  • we should always check the bible.... its not bad to speak in tongues or have the guft its only bad if its not legitimate... however paul says its more beneficial to speak 5 words of truth rather than ten thousand words in tongues... so as leaders we should seek to edify and build up the church but if the spirit is leading know one needs to get angry at there brothers and sisters ...

  • @thetownmusic mmmm you don't speak in tongues :) right

  • @46lfries mmmm you don't read the bible :) right

  • For you may be giving thanks well enough, but the other person is not being built up. I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you. Nevertheless, in church I would rather speak five words with my mind in order to instruct others, than ten thousand words in a tongue.

    —1 Corinthians 14:14-19

  • For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays but my mind is unfruitful. What am I to do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will pray with my mind also; I will sing praise with my spirit, but I will sing with my mind also. Otherwise, if you give thanks with your spirit, how can anyone in the position of an outsider say “Amen” to your thanksgiving when he does not know what you are saying?

  • YES !!! WORSHIP IS ABOUT GOD!!! Thank you Kim.

  • I think you need to be careful when you judge if she's really speaking tongues or not. Because if she really is receving the baptism of the holy spirit through tongues you are in hot water with God. The bible says in Proverbs 18:8 “The words of gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to a man’s inmost parts" and we shouldn't judge “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.”-Matthew 7:1...just sayin =/

  • was she speaking in tongues in the beginning?

  • @hester23x mmmhmmm yup such powerful language

  • @hester23x Yes, she was speaking.

  • @hester23x yes she was, kim has a tendency to sing in the spirit when she does spontaneous worship. it is such an amazing way to usher in the presence. :)

  • @hester23x Yeah she was .. It's the most direct way of speaking with God ... sometimes when I have nothing to say .. I speak in tongues , cause my spirit knows what to say ... God Bless

  • @t33jaymaxx It's the ages-old war of the Pharisee spirit against the anointing. Can't be reconciled. One rejects the real Jesus the other embraces. <3

  • My spirit cries with longing whenever I hear your music. How I long to be associated with a church that brings God alive in me as you do.

Bring it to the rest of us. I get so tired of church. I long for the church of Acts in action.

  • i so want to be able to sing in tongues! Practice :D and its not boring practice either like other things. Its building me up!

  • Amazing Amazing Amazing! God has talented you... Go big GIRL! The world needs you! Carrie from South Africa

  • it sounds nice... It's Hol\y Spirit filled worship

  • I watch this and wonder what happened to what church music used to be... Hymns are what we should be singing in church...

  • @Willdabest15 says who?

  • @Willdabest15 I don't ever remember reading about hymns in the bible. What is the big difference? Is anything she is singing wrong? A style of music means nothing. Whether or not it is from the holy spirit is what matters.

  • @Willdabest15 Worship should be relatable... less than 2% of last year's music sales were Religious. An infinitesimal amount of those sales were organ music. Many worship bands actually still do hymns though... Lots of good doctrine in Hymns!

  • mAKE A WAY FOR THE KING!! YEAAAH!

  • Is it really spontaneous if the band is using lead sheets? Just wondering...

  • @Cyril376444 The band just plays a certain chord progression (ie E / F#m / A / B) over and over again... the vocalist can then make up -- or in this case spontaneously sing -- whatever comes into her heart to sing. Only singing certain notes match with the chord the instruments are currently playing. I'll have prayer times with my guitar, and 'sing' my prayers vs just speaking them... Kim's just doing on stage what she obviously does in her private prayer time...

  • @DireMcCann That doesn't sound very "spontaneous" to me. Maybe my definition of spontaneous is a bit broader than is meant here. It makes it sound like the Holy Ghost is somehow leading this, when it's really just improv/jamming.

  • @Cyril376444 I see your point... if it was Spirit-Led, then what comes forth would be more prophetic. What's on this video is Improv/Jamming, just with vocal licks vs. an instrument. Whatever prayer is on her heart, she's vocalizing...

  • @Cyril376444 they aren't looking at sheet music. at the end when the song was over they turned the page for the next song.

  • Kim is a wonderful worship leader. I am ushered into God's awesome presence immediately when I hear her worship with such intensity and genuine connection. In spirit and in truth.

  • How I love Jesus!!! Moments like this make so happy about how God love us and want our love, our lifes, our prayers, our songs, our heart! *-*

That's why I love Jesus sooooooooooooo much.

  • fake tongues?! Oh dear. There is always one precious child of God who would make such a comment. This Church and these worship leaders are leading people into worship. Personal worship. Please sweetheart just close your eyes and listen to the other words she is singing and you will hear the heart and connect with the spirit of God. She is declaring God's goodness and love and yes! also singing in tongues

  • @janeym you gotta be careful. could be blasphemy of the holyspirit what you just said.

  • THIS is what worship at church SHOULD be

  • @truepowerbombking and i si ng because god is good. and i dance because god is good

  • i feel the presence every time i hear her sing. its just bliss..

  • Acts 19:6 (New Living Translation)

6 Then when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other tongues and prophesied.

  • @haynosity 1 Cor 14:27-28 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God.

  • @kleung841

This passage is about speaking in tongues or a message in tongues, not SINGING in tongues. Paul also refers to singing in tongues (I will pray in the spirit and I will pray with understanding, i will sing in the spirit and I will sing with the understanding 1 Corinth 14:15).

No let me ask you a question, do you follow the Bible's command to seek spiritual gifts (the ones Paul was just describing in the verses previous to commanding that, not ones made up to explain it away?)

  • @imblessedso Is singing not speaking or not message then? If we are commanding to sing to each other in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, should we all go on and sing something that the congregation doesn't understand? Or just go on in your own individualistic world?

(this refers to prophesy, but:) "Or did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached?"

  • @imblessedso I find it problematic to just equate "in tongues" with "with the spirit".

If people don't speak in tongues - does it mean they dont have the Spirit?

And do you mean "Desire prophesy - desire the Word of God?" Yes, that's why I like it when people sing songs from Scripture, and people preaching from the Bible.

  • No, I mean to desire the same gifts Paul was discussing when he said to earnestly desire spiritual gifts in Corinthians.

You find what i said problematic because you are seemingly in the habit of not reading in context, as was also the case with the issue above. In this second case, you should know that Paul was talking about speaking in tongues in the previous verses, that was the context.

  • @kleung841 - when Paul says to pray in the Spirit this is the prayer language that is in tongues. and yes it is good to desire prophesy- which is not always from scriputre. Singing Hymns psalms and spiritual songs etc. Poeple always equate Hymns with classical 1800 to early 1900 music. Hmm that did not exist at the time of the writing of the word. Sing a NEW song-- one from the heart- or sing in the spirit-- praying in the Spirit can also come forth in song too.

  • @kleung841 1 Cor 14:27-28 what you just stated is a scripture that A LOT of church are confused about when it comes to the holy spirit. that verse, and chapter deals with the 9 gifts of the spirit, and the 5 ministry gifts God gave to the church. Which are to different things.

  • @drethornton Thanks for you thoughtful replies. I think we don't need some sort of supernatural manifestation of chrismata to "have the Holy Spirit" - 1 Cor 11 after all says 'no one can say "Jesus is Lord" except in the Holy Spirit.' I just don't like people equating "unintelligibility" with "spirituality".

  • @kleung841 Im not going to go into full detail about it but I want to encourage you that if your not in a church that rooted and grounded in this princpals. Go find one, join, and get into the classes. I just completed my 2nd year of Caticisum, where I just learned about all of that stuff. Its been a blessing. and its GOOD!!!!

  • Not all tongues needs to be interpreted.

  • Beautiful

  • Beside the awesome worship her voice is spectacular!!! Wow

  • man that was cool! can someone send me a link to the interpretation of the tongues?

  • This happens when you really let God go deep into ur heart...is not even her...is HIM!

  • I dont tire to watch it!

  • i could just SCCCREEAAAAAM "JESUS, JESUS, JESUS!"

  • @LadyPeac3 haha you should just do ittt :) its the best feelingg

  • @chefboyardee7Elijah - I did SCCCREEEAAM, how could i not?

  • 8 people like "bertulina-marli" on youtube.

  • Glory to Jesus...He is our King we submit to completely! Help us yield lord!

  • I miss doing this - but I need to know how to do it while leading the team. So far I haven't really been able to do that.

  • this is so cool i love it while i was listening to this the spirit filled me so intensely it was like i was reborn :) i loved it

  • does anyone have an interpretation for 0:29 - 0:35? a girl at my worship group always sings those exact lines over and over again and i haven't heard them be interpreted :S cheers

  • @superhero1221 Singing in the spirit does not require interpretation, nor does praying in the spirit. Delivering a prophetic word to a congregation does require an interpretation.

  • @eyemabeliever What's the scriptural basis for that?

  • @eyemabeliever actually, tongues do need interpretation. that's why there is a gift called "gift of interpretation of tongues"

  • @monkeyboyart8 gift of interpretation of tongues ...The interpretation of bulls..<<

  • @monkeyboyart8

    Mais não nesse contesto..........

  • @eyemabeliever Really? Everybody I know seems to tell me different things about speaking in tongues. From my understanding if there is no interpreter it should not be done in front of a church like this. Do you have any bible verses that contradict that? God bless

  • @leojjjoel don't you think thats something of a complete religious response? if anything it stops freedom. tongues brings freedom, the spirit of the Lord and His most complete purposes for our lives. ask God what He thinks about it. Peace and blessings.

  • @buzzdidit007 I hear what your saying. But emotion can trick us into believing that god is moving in us. I have seen many people repent on friday over a song like this and go back to there old ways on Monday because it was not really god moving in them, but emotions triggered by the song. I am not saying in anyway that god cant save you through a song like this but they are designed to manipulate you to a certain extent. I play in a worship team twice a week.

  • @leojjjoel You know why they went back to their ways? You can repent on Friday to a song like this sure... and go back to your own ways sure.. But if you don't have a clean heart and truly have God in your life then how are you to let him move? How are you to be truly forgiven if you can't forgive yourself? They don't manipulate you it's just pure worship and the move of God.. How do you even worship with a mindset like that, How can you truly worship with your team with a negative mindset.

  • @aboutbusiness20 I totally agree that you truly have to repent of your sins for god to forgive you. I think your not understanding what I am saying though. I worship with my team every time I play, but things like keyboard in the background when somebody is praying is designed to trigger emotions. It makes the speakers words seem more powerful than they actually are. Things like that I am against because god can work without us trying to create a "mood"

  • @aboutbusiness20 I hate how churches break up over things like this though. I am not trying to get into a debate about this by any means.

  • @buzzdidit007 If you are in a worship team just as you've said, why is it that you don't know the meaning of it? I am also in a worship team, and when I worship Jesus,I only set up my mind on Him.It's not about my emotions, my situation in life and my moods. It's only about Him!!!! I worship Him because He is worthy to be worshipped! If you really have the Spirit of God, then you will be like Jesus! He'll take over and brings you to dance, jump, laugh, shout, etc.!!!

  • I'm talking about my own experience, when Jesus moves, He brought me into movements that I can't explain. But because I have to be obedient, I let myself to be used by Him. People are always praying that God's glory to come down, but how can He moves in our midst during the worship if we'll quench God's desire. We are all called to be His vessels!!! If you have the Spirit of Discernment, then you'll know that this team are God's vessels and true worshippers!!!

  • @ibcd12865i I totally agree with that man. The issue that was addressing was tongues

  • @superhero1221 Yeah actually I've noticed myself sing those words over and over again before. Ask God, sometimes I notice I can almost hear what I'm saying in tongues and other times it's more like paraphrasing an idea of just pure praise.

  • wow!!!

  • ptla

  • merci Jésus pour ton amour si pure si fort si envahissant merci mon Dieu moi ROi mon Seigneur L' Amoureux de mon âme c'est toi JESUS CHRIST

merci pour tout ce que tu as fait pour moi....pour nous

  • One word....Jesus.....if you knew what it was like to worship and be in the presence....

  • Does anyone know which music they sang before this spontaneous?

  • @Rochacasa: im pretty sure it was Revelation Song...it sounds like it...The way she was flowing & the way the instruments were playing, i can almost positively say that it was Revelation Song...(-: hope this helps

  • @samoanboy87 Thank you so much!!! Its right! :)

  • Praise God. I love this video

  • Love it when people aren't afraid to sing in the Spirit. There's so much freedom in that =)

  • i JUST got GOOSE BUMPS ALL OVER MY BODY!! GOD YOU BURN RIGHT THREW ME!! I LOVE YOU KING JESUS!!!!!!!!XOXOXOXOX

  • Não me canso de ver esse vídeo.

  • Jesus you are awesome!!!!! in every way!!!!

  • Praise to the King of Kings and I will adore you!

  • I Love Kim walker's worship.. I love any worship of the Father...

  • OMG...I absolutely love this ministry now. I am very new to this type of worship and I must say that it is the best and I feel so free. I am now a worship leader (not an every sunday thing) and we have the same type of flow.

  • Props to the pregnant girl doing BGV. She sounds great, which is harder to do when you're pregnant :)

  • @awinters2020 That's my big sister and she wasn't and isn't pregnant.

  • 7 people missed the 'like' button

  • How humbling! i love the way she worships in such freedom!

  • Awesome!

  • why do christians always argue on stuff thats uplifting God? who cares who you dont agree with another Christian. Praise GOD. its about Him, not you.

  • She needs to come out with a cd of her speaking in tongues! Its so beautiful!

  • I just love that line at the beginning... changes the whole atmosphere... "not just another worship set, THE KING IS HERE!"

  • we love you Jesus :)

  • Fantastic Worship. This is how it should be all the time, done in the Spirit expressing our hearts that overflow for more of Him.

  • jesus culture writes such inspiring catchy songs, along with another new christian band Red Letter Hymnal. They all have awesome stuff on good old youtube

  • creepy stuff

  • spontaneous worship is awesomeee!!

  • I love free worship and speaking in tongues, it makes me express so much more than I ever can in human language....however if the person beside me is uncomfortable, i will stop and the explain to him when church ends....Jesus lives!

  • @philotze but how do you explain tongue language to a non-beliver?

  • @NemoAlfa i would say that if there is a language here on earth, then this would be considered the language of heaven, which it is lol, and its the way of the holy spirit speaking your prayers for you blockin them from the enemies ears, straight to heaven:)

  • @NemoAlfa a love language between you and god.

  • @NemoAlfa

You don't. You explain that to them, when they become Christian and receive the holy spirit. Otherwise, they will always think it's gibberish, the only thing you may say about that, (what I believe, if im wrong correct me), is that it is a special language that comes from within your new spirit to praise God.

  • @fatalcolumn123 I think its a good answer! :D

  • @philotze amen...worshiping in spirit and in truth

  • @philotze I dont believe speakking in tongues is about expressing your love for Jesus. If you read about tongues in the bible its in a completely different context. Most believers are confused about what the word of God says and it saddens me sometimes...i jst felt like i should say that. andd if you truly are one of His I LOVE YOU and see you in eternity! :)

  • @philotze yes absolutely right, I love speaking in tongues and kim really has a gift in worship! love her spontaneous song #1-5

  • Wooohooo Free Worship at it's best I love it Great Stuff.......God Bless you all. :-)

  • Oh how I want to be in a worship service like this. It's nice to do it alone, but it is so awesome with the congregation as well. Just don't have anything like this in my city :(

  • @mandi7911 Hey my friend, how big is your church's congregation? Perhaps I can share with you a little bit. Its not about how big or how awesome the music (which definately plays a big part) is, when your heart is set right and connected with God, you flow...let it go and the intensity of your worship with Jesus will be strong and so filled with the Holy spirit, regardless of whether you are having music or not! :)

  • this is true worship.

  • So many people are so indoctrinated by other men, they never stop and go to God in prayer about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Don't take your parents word, your preachers word, and don't take my word for it. You receive the gifts of God when you take time to simply praise him. If you have questions about the gifts of the Spirit, go the the Holy Spirit himself. What a novelty idea. Go directly to the SOURCE!

  • Such beauty and joy in that sound.

  • I'll follow Him, Jesus !

  • God I want this boldness in the spirit HERE in SWEDEN GOD PLEASE!

  • @Lean4th

As the American granddaughter of Swedish grandparents, I join you in prayer for revival of the Spirit of Jesus in the hearts of your countrymen with freedom of worship.

  • I find it interesting that the self-appointed doctrinal purifiers find fault with things like this video that cultivate intimacy with God. They love legalism more than intimacy - simply put - they cannot coexist..

  • @legacyofworship Not self-appointed - God ordained. 1 Thessalonians 5:19-20: we are not to quench the Spirit, but to test what is being said and done to see whether it is of God. There is nothing legalistic about rightly dividing the word in a desire to know more of Him and His truth. I would like much of what is taught in (parts of) the modern Charismatic movement to be of God, because the message is being heard by so many, but yet have concluded that so much is not - prosperity gospel etc.

  • @QuisSeperabit60 I dont know why but this response reminded me of that red hot chilli pepper song "hey OH" where he is like rigthly devided by a world so undecided and theres no place to go... I said EHHHH ahhhh EHHHHH ahhh EHHHH LOL sorry :}
