Okay, who just adores Oliver's smile when at 4:56 and 5:05 and 5:09? I just thought that was so adorable, especially 'cause he was like smiling shyly.
lol, he was the unofficial leader. Like in the shadows, or when everyone was being an idiot. They said he was, just that he didn't like being in the limelight too much. Easier to work when the attention is not on you all the time or something XD
Is it me ore is this episode so.... Powerful, maybe it is because this highly represents the group - Justice League - that Superman would lead. Maybe it because they will bring a peaceful era. Like now there is darkness, but one day there will be a ray of sunshine.
Chloe = Dr. Fate. Add in some meteor healing ability, some faint tracking ability, as well as everything else Chloe related = One powerful 'sidekick'.
As much TPTB thought to put this epi after Warrior, Warrior was written as episode 13, while AJ as 12 (and they also were shot in that order) so I think would be, imo, a huge mistake put this episode on air after Warrior, thank god they were on air on the the right order, and not TPTB's way to mess with the order of epis (since Warrior at first was escaled to be on air before Escape). I like the original order/chronology and that gladly was on air. Ollie realizing Chloe before they get together.
This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. It seems our favorite green leather super hero has clearly fallen for our favorite blonde side kick. I can not wait for their reunion.
Re the last scene: Did it mean that Oliver was gonna ask Chloe out for dinner and Martian Manhunter just happened to be there? Since Oliver had no idea MM would be there on his way to Watchtower... :)
Yes. Keep in mind, this was to air AFTER Warrior, which means Chloe and Oliver have already hooked up. They're friends with benefits at this point. And Hawkman and Oliver have a scene earlier in Absolute Justice (at the museum) in which Hawkman talks about his wife, and says something which makes Oliver reconsider his own attitude towards the people in his life who are important to him. The dinner invite is a conscious effort on his part to improve on that score.
@xanxei now that they've changed the order around (Warrior aired AFTER absolute justice) the writers wanted us to see Ollie's effort to improve the team's unity went deeper than just camaraderie. The way Ollie looked at Chloe when he offered to go out for dinner clearly showed that he was already developing feelings for her.
@bogusbabe Yes. He had NO idea MM was there, it was funny, because he thought about have take Chloe to dinner, but actually got a + guest LOL. "Aaannn Nothing actually" LOL I <3 that. His smile expecting to her answer, really good. About the order of epis, I also explaned in another post of mine, you can think in both ways, but I rather think on the chronology that was written, shot the epis AND on air in this case, instead of TPTB crazyness to mees with them on the order on the last minute.

I'm glad Chloe is gone, her role was getting annoying. Although I must say the way she got written off was lame.
