  • KICK HIM

  • We have two roosters A Welsomer and a Ameracana, the Welsomer is head rooster but it is the Ameracana that attacks people. The alpha rooster will teach you how to be the alpha rooster to your confused roo. Basically chase him till he drops from exhaustion. Chase him every day. when he attacks kick him like you would a soccer ball, with the side of your foot. Less chance of killing him that way. Kick him till he runs, catch him, carry him by his legs and then feed him. Aplha roo feeds flock.

  • mr rooster would get a shoe upside his head ;) if he persisted, he'd end up as a crockpot special :)

  • Back in 2010 we got our first flock and one of our chicks turned out to be a rooster. Actually... we got 4 roos out of the whole 6! 3 roostes were nice and sweet, but the other was a nasty little son of a bitch. No one who comes to my house escapes without getting attacked by rascal! But i just don't have the heart to kill him or give him away :(

  • Maybe he's attacking because he believes your invading his territory? xP

  • omg you have exactly the same chickens as me

  • lol,you're so funny!

  • look up sligoman180 rooster attack and compare it to that

  • A good kick in the wishbone always sets our roosters straight.

  • My rooster the same way but he's black. I'm a little guy for being 14 but I always kick my rooster if he does attack.

  • This is why I am afraid to get chickens. My dog is usually loving towards any other animal but if something came at me, even if it wasn't a serious threat, it would be spaghetti sauce in less than a minute. Then I am worried about him wanting to kill and eat more of them. I suppose I should just keep buying eggs and meat from a friend.

  • That's why you kick him square in the chest If he does that. Or u can pick him up by his legs and smack him around a bit. That's what we do with our roosters. Birds are very territorial and they do attack when they sense fear

  • Yep, when one of ours did this we blasted him away with a shotgun. Its not animal abuse if he abuses you first...little fuckers.

  • what kind is he

  • Hilarious

  • haha watch mine too

  • It's something about your shoes he's after. If I have leather gloves on and try to pick one of the hens up or reach to pick him up he'll jump at me. If I leave and take the gloves off, He won't jump me. He's a Rhode Island Red.

  • Exactly. Cute EasterEgger, but you need to kick him away until he gets the idea. He is displaying dominance over you, and this kind of behavior is unnaceptable.

  • Im sorry i would have kicked him into yesterday if he tried that foolishness with me

  • those kinds of roosters are for eating....

  • maybe its the pink color on your shoes

  • My rooster does this to me and me ONLY! all the time i have like 13 scars on my other leg and i havent count on the other one, every time he see's me he goes crazy:P

  • I once had a rooster at a fair i was working at that noone could feed or water it was so vicious. guy bought it to guard his hen house and it killed his dog! he actually shot it and brought it back and payed US to take it.

  • well u should show him ur the boss by grabbing him or attacking back when he does that or grab his beak thats how i show my chickens im the boss

  • i think its because ur by his girls im pretty sure

  • we had 2 roosters but gave 1 to a friend and he died the one we hve now is frikin mean as hell he attacks u 4 no reason once he hit me in the face with his feathers and his fat body atackd my leg he didnt cut me though on the one thing he is scard of is these huge wooden scissors ifhe attaks me i run im to fast 4 him he'll usaully just stop he doesnt hve the spurs on the back of his feet yet but ther growin in

  • fuuny

  • Mine attacks everyone but me because he KNOWS I WILL KICK THE SHIT OUT OF HIM

  • my mom used to try to communicate with our chickens by crowing... not the rooster attacks her every time she comes out of the house...

  • This is why we slaughtered our roosters -.-

  • Haha he's a rhodeisland red I deal with this everyday little crap heads

  • Yeah he would be the first one I ate. I only keep runts with my hens cause I don't like a angry rooster around my girls...they mate too much...& I hate violence in my coop. this video is old ..did you eat him?

  • i heard they have spurs on the back of their legs that hurts

  • wow what breed is he? he's beautiful. lots of colors!

  • my rooster tries to attack me i outrun him lol :P

  • You should have had him for dinner.

  • I know how you feel yo attacked my toddler brother once

  • omg i fricken hate my rooster!!!!! every time i go out to feed my hens he always spurs me!!! i hate him!!!!!

  • It looks like it's time for someone to become dinner...

Do it in front of the others to remind them of their place in the food chain!

  • mmmm chicken

  • ya, i just got thumped-good on the head by a hen while i was rounding her 3 chix up to put them in their new home, those are the thanks I get!!!

  • I got attacked by our Rhode Island Red rooster the other day...took a chunk outta my leg! He was only doing his job tho, I was tryna catch one of the hens ha!

  • Its in a Rooster's nature to do that. Hes protecting the hens

  • i've been attacked by a rooster too

and i hit him with a bucket twice

it's awful but funny at the same time

  • The narrator (camera operator) sounds like Cathy Bates.

  • LOL! I do?? not sur if i that's a good thing...oh well ya gots what ya gots...

  • Just fyi I like Cathy Bates so that's kudos to you my dear. Enjoyed your vid.

  • @dw3406 Get a goose lol they will kick his rear and calm that down lol

  • It's instinct that the rooster does this. He's the Alpha male.

  • he's someone elses alpha now! my NEW rooster is much nicer....

  • Can't exactly blame you. I have some disturbing childhood memories of my grandmother's crazy rooster that would chase us in the yard. Was a pain in the ass trying to play as a kid and always having to look over your shoulder for the stalking rooster.

  • @dw3406 should made dinner out of him

  • I killed mine for doing stuff like that. He attacked my siblings so I put a bullet in his head. (NO JOKE).

  • can't say I blame you! He's no longer with us, some are just mean!!!!

  • @dw3406 I hope you disinfected your wound as a cockles claws arnt clean. They stand and walk in their own crap

  • nice rooster

  • "Excuse me rooster." lol

  • Excuse me rooster BAM LOL

  • What makes it worse is putting your foot at him,but I guess you have no choice.

  • lol
