I'm taking a class on arduino this quarter, and I'd love to use arduino to do some circuit bending! How are you using the arduino here? How are arduinos usually used in circuit bending? Good luck with your future projects!
Very nice! I have been thinking of using my Arduino for circuit bending. I have dome some experimentation using a transistor oscillator for circuit bending. I was getting some interesting effects. I bet using an Arduino would be even better.
jesus is that the relay that we can hear clicking? :) it doesn't sound like it'll last. hehe optoisolators work well for this too - no noise, faster and cheaper. nice work, but put some clothes on the next time.
quaded, please put a beter description or reply, Im curious as to what the arduino is diong? is it gating the bends or some sort of voltage potentiometer type output?
Hi sorry guys, i have been working for long time... This example is very simple... I,m using Arduino with relays to trigger the sound-speed inside the sound. The potentiometer tells arduiono how fast he should trigger or gatting
the relays. Inside the toys is a clock-chip which cause the random noise.
cool, last night I was running my arduino into my vss30, oh man it was insane, I was doing granular synthesis insanity, stuff I never thought was possible with bending. I used a 555 chip and a couple of the pwm outputs going into the ram chip, and it was able to control just about every aspect of the keyboard by manipulating the ram data. I will document it and put on my vimeo soon.
Yaeh very good, this is the next step in circuit - bending: See it from a technical point of view. The are so many electronic possibilities how we can manipulate the data inside the "chip". But we should also think about how we perform , interact with these toys...

You were essentially getting wave and 12% pulse channels! This bend would be great for the sake of chiptune

I'm confused, is the chip you have originally from the blue and green toy you have?

@octupussss regarding what you said, about interacting. you should look up the "futar".
