I've got it, and to be honest: it's not that good ! x)

okay, right, the kite is like 10 years old (or more !)

but the only thing I can use it for is buggying...

With the newer Blades, you can also use it for landboarding but with that one I am scared to death when I go landboarding... ;)

I do kiteboarding and buggy with some extremelly minor jumping. Where is this beach located? I do my buggying on Brighron Beach, NY and must use only Big Foot Buggy because of the sand.

I just wonder how some of these fringe sports get started.

I`d rather free ride moutain bike any day. you can come if you want, but you have to get in the air without the help of the wind.

"Fringe"??? Is 6000 UK members of the British Buggy club considered "fringe"? I remember when Mountain Biking (freeride or not) WAS a fringe sport. It caught on.

Most people who do kiting sports also do other things including mountain biking. Personally I like letting the wind do all the work, but both are good and each gives a different thrill. Try it. If you like it, great. If not, try something else. If mountain biking's your thing - great! We enjoy kiting - surely that's enough? :-)
