When I try to run my zipped rom of GoldenEye, it tells me "Attempt to open file failed." So then I tied to unzip it and I got a .z64 file. Tried that, still didn't work. changed it from .z64 to .n64, STILL didn't work. I've tried downloading my rom from multiple sites and I can't get any one of the roms to work. What am I doing wrong?

@GuitarDeity it does that with every game. if i want to play najora's mask, i open it, and ignore the message saying it failed. then i go to open file, and select majora's mask from my file where i keep all my roms, and it works fine. you should have to the same affect with goldeneye

@AnimeMaster54 on the N64 pokemon stadium was played with the D-pad, so you have to use the D-pad configurations

@reynaldinho17 no u can hook up like a xbox 360 controler u can change the setings at options at the top of the screen then goto configure controller plug in

then u just set the setings for the keybord or just plug ur xbox 360 controler into ur usb port and configure the controler hope i cud help

when i open my PJ64it brings up a message saying direct3d failed to initialize you HAL device make sure you have a properly configured 3d graphics card compatible with direct2d 6.0 then i click ok and another message says the default or selected video plugin is missing or invalid. check that you have at least one compatible plugin file in your plugin folder. any help with this??
