Given her insecurities, substance abuse and emotional issues, all in the meat-grinder of show business, it's astounding she lived to the age of 47, let alone left behind a legacy that epitomizes and sets the standard in entertainment.
Stern will soon be forgotten; if remembered at all, it will be as a vulgar, mean-spirited, cruel "man", ugly inside and out.

This is a double edged sword.
It's both funny on a guttural level, but at the same time, it's wrong.
It's always funny making fun of celebrities who have problems, but when we realize how severe those problems are, it's not really that funny anymore.

I think they are making fun of someone who is a legend but is obviously going through a lot at this point in her life. It is mean and cruel to say that she was ALWAYS drunk . I have only come to respect Howard in the years since his FCC battles - but he's way off with Judy here. What's sad about Judy is that THIS is what she sounded like the last several years of her life ALL the time - after years of drug abuse. She isn't drunk here. BTW, Sid never was awarded sole custody, Judy fabricated that - getting off on the victim thing, I guess. Joe and Lorna voluntarily went to live with Sid when they were teenagers, about a year before Judy died.

Drunk, stoned or not, Judy had a great sense of humor. Her hard-core fans, however, do not. I'm surprised Howard didn't get death threats over this.
"I don't care about anybody but me." No truer words were ever spoken by Judy. Her evaluation of Sid as parasite isn't off the mark, but aside from her first 2 husbands, she intentionally chose husbands with no jobs.

It is a 2 hour double CD called "Judy Speaks." I bought it and was disgusting. Hey, ever been drunk and acted stupid saying dumb stuff? Thats all it is. But to hear her voice was charming. Half of it is pretty witty, the other time it is slurring voice. Go get it on ebay or anywhere.
