like at 0:35 it says that earth would have been like mars. why didn't scientists think that mars had been through the same thing and that's how it is lifeless
We have far more questions about the Triassic Jurassic extinction than Answers. We probably know more about the Dinosaur extinction than this one. This documentary assumes too much and shows what is most exciting for us to see.
why did they give desmatosuchus the suffix "suchus" at the end is it somehow related to crocodiles or is it just one of those names where you are completely stuck with like hyenadon.
@AnimeShinigami13 now that you mention that, it does kinda look like a crocodile but if they wanted to name that creature I say that they should have gone with the latin name of armadillo or some other heavily plated creature like an anklosaurid.
@AnimeShinigami13 laughs, oh dear, I got it mixed up with Rutiodon! lol. hahahahahahahah. yeah, it does look like an armadillo, but i suppose since it isn't a true dinosaur it can't be called 'don' 'saurus' or anything of the like!
Thank you so much for uploading Animal Armageddon. This show is so hard to find since it stopped airing on Animal Planet, especially the American version. Thanks for your hard work, it's great to be able to watch this again in great quality.

@grey9438
Well, their distant extinct ancestors, sure. Not Crocodiles though. And don't underestimate them. They're hardy buggers.

@BrontoSmilodon1 it looks similar to crocodiles, but its not a relative of theirs. "Suchus" means that its either a crocodile or like a crocodile.

The world of Triassic is dominated by _human_ jungle? I think somebody blundered...
Junketh71 1 year ago
@Junketh71 That would be "Humid" jungle.
