  • Wanna go home but I ain't got the station toll ...

  • @ijoan hmm I think your right about toll .. everywhere i looked said clothes but now i'm thinking toll too! Its definately sufficient though but obviously he's talking about station toll, makes sense.

  • I have a cover of this on the album "Castles" by our local Berkeley band Joy of Cooking.

  • Dnload the audio from this vid at soundnabber doht cohm.

  • one of my favorites. fascinating song structure and lyrics.

  • Ragtime Dorian, this is a great channel you've got here. The Tommy Johnson songs are a treat as I've never heard him before. quickly becoming a favorite. Being that this is a Jefferson page, I'll say this about BLJ: a true innovator of not only Texas blues but blues in general, a true progenitor.

  • Possibly my favorite song from him.

  • @AUSROTTENY2K agreed. this song embodies the lemon jefferson sound perfectly...lyrics that are almost shouted rather than sung of complex densely composed guitar...this is the first BLJ song i heard and had to rush out and get a collection of his music on the merit of this song alone.

  • c'est magnifique

  • beautiful song

  • Blind Lemon Jefferson.. Father of Texas Blues
