It's very good man. Remember make the different resistances for the three races:

- Aliens: good against cold arms but weak against the fire

- Predators: good against fire arms but weak against the cold.

- Humas: good against the both elements but weak against kinetic

its a little more complicated than that, several units have strengths and weaknesses like that.

The game is long finished, i've even made a trailer, this was when i was still in the early stages of making the game.

I searched for Avp: Extinction many times and I never found a PC version, all was in PS2. Now I see this and theres a second part, that can be played in PC? But I'm trying to find it, and I've got no results...anyone can bring me some light?

I basicly remade the whole game as a multiplayer mod, which is based on warcraft 3. If you have warcraft, you can click on the link in the description, it will take you to the avp game.

heh, but its still the game. It just hasn't got a campaign, if you searched for multiplayer, thats the game. You will find nothing else out there for pc, believe me, thats why i made, was so frustrated myself.

you choose race in the lobby of the game. Orc-predator, undead-alien, human-marine, nightelf-nothing, only atmo.So the game randomly selected the wrong race for you.Just try again and it should work.

put the file into your map folder, start the game, go into the map folder inside the game, find it, start it.

Dont try to open the map file on the desktop, this will result in error.

I've played many WC3 AVP maps, many of them don't has AI. Only Predator Wars (which is based on the 2004 AVP film), has a good AI, but still, player AIs are still required for Predators.

im a bit confused how you want to put it into another game, which is a role playing game.You want to put avp univerise into another fungame?slightly confused.

Also, just copy the concept etc.since thats enough, the interior map triggers etc. are different from warcraft, so you cant just copy and paste, therefore having the map protected is as good as having it unprotected, am i wrong?

Also, my pc is dead, i dont have the game anymore, its gone.last version will be the last.

yeah, thats true, but making this game took me...lets see...started 3 years ago....did rapid mapping in months but with huge breaks...6-12 hours a day....i guess....i used 600-1800 hours on this map, months each day only doing this for hours...its to much work, not again.Its just not gonna happen.If someone cant play sc2, they may enjoy this map, but this wouldnt be that great in sc2.

Yes and No, the tournament isnt restricted to an area, so you can join no matter where you live, as long as you have warcraft 3 you can join the tournament.

@Geeaeyh Yes it does. If you "face huggs" an human you Get an alien warrior... But if you face huggs an predator then you Get an pred alien. But if you uses an "praetorian face hugger" then you will only get praetorian aliens what ever you attacks.

@Bratcipheo I realize that, but what if each had a benifit but also a weakness, like the Predalien queen is strong in health and attack but it cant make eggs very fast, and the runner queen is fast in speed and egg production, but weak in health and attack, and the regular queen is in the middle of them both, and the praetorians would be the same way but just cant lay eggs. I know it would be some work, but trust me IT WOULD BE WORTH IT!!!

Too much work, for to little gain.Its meant to be multiplayer, if you want singleplayer, play the real game.It would probably take weeks to create A.i´s and i dont really see the point either.

well, you'd notice that the ravager is the counter to the exosuit.Ravager has 20 block resillience and the exosuit the fastest fire rate in the game, but with dmg at 15 points, which means it deals 1 point of dmg to the ravager, per attack.exosuit is for vs. many small units.
