they played hip hop.classical and idk it was cool..mostly everybody was screaming..

  • where? lik wat state?

  • lol interesting

  • thats awesome, but he's a little stiff and should move his right wrist more, he needs to relax

  • What Hes doing seems to be working Very Well for Him so I believe what Hes doing is fine fine for Him. ;)

  • killa is wrong

  • mediocrity works very well for alot of people, but this guy has great skill as a musician and should strive for perfection in sound and technique. all i'm saying is being relaxed ( ex, bending the wrist) is a crucial component in playing the violin, and if he did that he would bump up his game quite a bit, and since he's already great imagine what he could be like

  • Lmao no doubt, I see what U mean + the fact I dont know how to play the violin Myself so I take your word but I can agree that being excellent at what ever it is you have talent in it only seems natural that you would strive to become better.

  • thank you

  • shut up nub.

you should put a shirt on.

just cause you can slide your fingers around a finger board with no particular order dont mean you know shit.

  • OMG!!!

    that is so aweosme

    makes me want to

    practice my violin more often

  • They do not know how to perform and the music is not all that. Once you see Nuttin but Stringz you will see they are just amazing and super talented. Check them out.

THATS WHAT YOU CALL TALENT! ,not just the violin but mixing styles! two thumbs UP!!

  • How cool! Really awesome!

  • That is really awesome...

  • I love the responses from the people in the audience... oh yeah, say what, slow it down... woo.

  • haha that was sweet

  • say what say whattt :D :D :D cool

  • they came to my school

  • Really love the violin... but why the hiphop beat and the dude that's talking?

  • dude its thier band. black violin. thats how all thier music is. If u liked them and lsitened to them u would know that. u see they mix hip hop and add classical instruments into it. and this is how it sounds.

  • Hey Thats alright.

  • Somebody has the violin score? :O

  • Yeah,You will, Figure it out yourself.

  • Come on, white people don't square dance. Everybody knows we do the Charleston and party like it's 1929.

  • What I don't get is ..

    when black people put a

    video on youtube.. white

    people come on here and

    say some really racist shit..

    black people actually have

    lives... theyy don't go

    on white people square

    dancing and start saying

    racist shit for no reason.

  • i agree with you, but what do you mean square dancing? lol. i think you may have a bit of a strange idea about white people.

  • toriwed that comment was rascist in a way not all white people square dance...im a southern redneck......i get annoyed when square dancing music comes on and the dance it self is stupid

  • Hey man, don't put us all into that group. I'm white and I ain't going to say anything racist, we're all people. And I think these guys are amazing.

  • man. this is so cool

  • I have never seen anything like this,, that is so freakin' awesome man!!!

  • how can this be st sanders?

  • cool shit man. CTROCK THE HIP HOP ROCK GUITAR ARTIST

  • A StSanders classic.

  • also I learned this part by ear. (it's pretty hard!!!)

  • This gets boring really quickly.

  • They should play,

The Devil came down to Georgia

  • soo gooood

  • sound good man. CTROCK THE HIP HOP ROCK GUITAR ARTIST

  • This is something I have to get use to because most of the time when people hear a beat they expect rap to follow it.

  • I play the violin and I think this is awesome:)

  • The people hating this guy probably cannot even play their keyboard beyond 1st grade. This guy is a top musician classicaly trained and EDUCATED. Sad when a black man who succeeded at school and his career is dissed.

  • Do people not listen? Hip hop music is ALREADY full of violins. So is rock and plenty of other non-classical genres. You just don't usually see them on the stage is all (:

  • yeah. more than half of the songs have a violin in it. most people that dont play the instrument cant hear it though.. and even people who do play it cant.

  • Yeah, but in hip-hop the violins play the same phrase every five seconds, because they're sampled. These guys are actually soloing over a hip-hop beat, which is more interesting.

Neat concept, but I doubt it'll revive the genre or anything.

  • Yeah, actual musical instruments now. I don't particularly like the genre but that guy has talent.

  • OMGSH wow they are just really cool. I dont kno how else to describe it

  • HELL YEAH!

SO AMAZING. I have such respect for someone who plays an instrument so amazingly well. And to blend hip hop and the violin, much props!

  • HOLY DUMB FUK WAS THAT AWSOME!!

  • This guy is purely awesome. I don't even play the violin and don't have much interest, but I can see the skill that this involves. For all those "haters" out there, even if you don't like it, appreciate these guys and their unique genre of music. Also, you guys don't even have to watch it!

    P.S. (5/5)

  • awesome. i wish i could play like that. i need an electric one lol

  • he plays really well

  • say whatt say whatt :D:D lol

  • niceeeeeeeeee

  • It'd br great if the guy'd stop shouting "my man" every few seconds, it gets annoying! Othwerwise very very cool

  • that's a talent :)

  • bushido suks. Goettingen, germany

  • damn that boy can play that fiddle good

  • whooa soo kool!! woohioo!

  • Wow, Sephiroth.

I just looked at your profile.

    ROFL!

Words just cant explain the geekiness and irony. of your vitual sex and anime infested profile.

  • Sleppin'

  • great player. unique bow attack on the strings.

  • this be my shiiiet.

  • That Kicks so much ass

  • insane good

  • Dope.

  • Wouldn't U need to go find something better to do cause instead of saying shit about this (which u obviously don't like) Go find something productive to do.

  • oh god attack of the nerds ahahahaahahha

  • Video is amazing and the guy is extremely talented. Those of you who cannot at least appreciate his talent and the difficulty of violin playing are just ignorant. And that's the sad part. Even if you don't like it, you should respect it.

  • dude i like how he plays that instrument... its crazy. i never would;ve imagined that...

  • this is the whitest thing ive ever seen a black man do

  • lol

  • You know nothing about music, he can PLAY an instrument, very well, he is the type of person, like me, who pushes music forward. Music production in Hip Hop is now full of guitars and violins and real musicians, deal with it. The people who dont think its white are the people making money.

  • lol

  • nice! original, would deserve a big orchestra

  • you have the nickname Sepihroth which means you still watch or enjou final fantasy, which is for children, what i enjoyed when i was younger, you even put in on your youtube name, you are a true internet nerd, now get a life nerdy boy

  • this message below is for deepwondjenna

  • You maybe 16, but you have maturity of a 5 year old

  • Dude! Owned, that was sweet. Hah..true Sephiroth does act like a kid, using a derogatory term for a black person..

  • took the time to search & watch a hip hop video. pubeless bastard

  • heheh moze na feacie Ostry z nimi wyskoczy kiedys :d heheh Respect !!!

  • heheh moze na feacie Ostry z nimi wyskoczy kiedys :d heheh Respect !!!

  • Do you have the music for that.

  • Pimp yo varlin

  • You play well, but rap is still garbage.

  • is it just me or is that bow longer than normal?

  • black violin rules!

  • cool cool cool nice.

  • That was.... unusual to say the least, but very good none-the-less.

  • To me, It's about time a new look came into violins.

  • Not ruining violin reputation, expanding the audience, not to mention improving hip hop's reputation.

  • not that I like hip hop...but you lame whites seem to emulate everything "we" do anyways, so...

well, i guess that you don't seem to attract white women like we do...

  • not all hip hop music consists of talking about violence or drugs take kanye west he says nothing in his music about violence. So u are basically handicapping all hip hop artists with your stereotypical beliefs.

  • Congratulations on having an opinion.

    P.S -

For Me: Classical Music = Satanism, Sado-Masochistic Behavior & Materialism. Have you ever heard of gate way drugs. Well "classical music" is like that. It paved to way for the obscenities that came in the form of rock then later rock music.

  • Rofl wow? Music hater much?

  • They are starting a new genre to get younger people to enjoy the non stereotypical sound of the violin.

  • cool. but it doesnt sound like they didnt have alot of training with it. oh well its still cool

  • Are you for real?

Do you have any idea what you are talking about?

  • probably not.

  • That guy is cool.

  • i dont see why people aren't getting this, you hear string parts in hip hop songs all the time, its just most of the time theyre using MIDI software, whereas here theyre using live instruments, i think it makes it a bit more interesting

  • You know...he's right. I went and litsend to a few songs, googled a few things, and yeah...strings have been in hip-hop since Snoop and Dre's prime...

  • Sure but the difference here is that that Snoop and Dre hired kids from conservatories to play the string parts. This guy took it to heart and learned to play the violin like a BADASS for hip hop, not for Haydn.

  • Word. These guys really went all out, i love it. I've been looking to buy their albums.

  • i gotta admit, that did make the violin seem a helluva lot cooler.

  • These guys aren't any better than good highschool seniors SERIOUSLY... wtf? It's just cuz they're black playing classical instruments. Nothing here is stellar wtf??? and the guy yellin', "say what? say what?"... is just more stupid on top the idea of ppl thinkin this is great playing. retardd

  • so i suppose "let the bodies hit the floor" is good music? you have no knowledge about music... i wouldnt doubt that youre probably not even musically inclined... thus you ARE a hater... being racist is too nice for the likes of u...

  • Do violin players get any better than these guys ?

  • Yes. It's just that the genre is wide open.

  • Lol you're a troll. I bet you're actually a black guy pretending to be a racist white dude so you can elicit some angry responses.

  • yes, because thats what black people do, sit around and try to elicit angry responses.

  • this is certainly different

  • What???Killin classic; these guys have talend and good music killin nothing. It's a gain for hip hop and maybe now younger people start to hear a lil bit classic. I hope I hear more from these fab bros...

  • maybe its not classical music anymore. maybe they're making their own music genre like jazz. maybe you should be a little more open minded.

  • Damn<3

  • that was dope!

  • I don't actually hate what they're doing. I think it's quite impressive, it's something new, extraordinary!

But it isn't the kind of music I do like and I think the violin's sound is more appropriate for classical songs.

But that's my opinion and I also respect their kind of music! And I think everybody should respect different likings.

  • its good to be open minded. :D

  • I dont think any classic violinist would hate what there doing. If anything the would give a standing ovation. These guys are thinking ahead and making new things happen some of which we would have never thought would happen. Why would someone hate on this? is it because someone of color is rocking a predominately white instrument and is making it sound good to your ears. Who knows?

  • all they are playing is 16th-32 note mono-chromatic scales, and staying in the upper half, maybe the last 1/4 of the bow. I don't call that technique,it's more amateur-ish.

I personally don't see anything interesting in their talent,It's lackluster, and the only thing fueling it is because they're blackI'm sorry but they don't have any more skill than a high school violinist

  • tsk tsk...your sure about that?

  • A. no one cares that u studied music theory... so just because you know what a 16th and 32nd note is, doesnt really make your point stronger?

i too am a music theory major and classically trained... however, i also emphasize in jazz... what this young man is doing is obviously IMPROVE!? so who cares what motives and harmonic devices he's using? he's playing from the HEART!

something you probably cant do because you're so controlled by whats written on paper...

  • Man, one day people will wake up and see that there is no black and white...only ONE NATION, ONE PEOPLE! Why do we waste time debating white music verse black music. In this day, the lines are pretty well blurred.

  • blood is red and bones are white for everyone as you know. Some people are very narrow minded, so why bother... This music is kind of a blend between both so who are they to judge. This are the way they should be, Diana

  • I am a violinist and I LOVE this. But I'm getting tired of the people implying that any white that doesn't like this is a racist -.-

  • wow, what a cool marriage of genre's.

    classi-hop?

    blackssical?

heh, whatever it's called I like it. although it is kind of strange seeing a big brotha rippin' on a violin lol .. kinda like watching an nfl running back on skates haha ... man, I love this stuff .. it breaks all kinds of stereo types! keep it up!

  • ur a hater Jackthemak

  • i'm a violinist and i'm so happy to see that classical music still lives in these modern times. music is fluid if you mix two complete genres together correctly you get a masterpiece. listen with your heartstrings not to what you already know.
