  • very well-spoken! i wish more people could understand that it is possible to try these psychedelics without becoming a fucked up hippy with nothing to show. just finished my first degree and going to grad school next year!

  • The only smart thing I've heard him say... EVAR!

  • @ReaperAHHH well you spelled ever wrong

  • Put those politicians in a room on acid and have them talk amongst each other and broadcast it live in real time unedited....i bet they would actually do some good.

  • Steve jobs was hardly a nerd. He wasn't even an engineer.

  • @qwkslvr79 True. It interesting to read his biography and while reading it realise how he really didn't have much knowledge about making computers, but still he's one of the greatest -if not The greatest- CEO's of all time. I wish I become as smart as he was by using mushrooms...

  • @ThePinkfloyd51 Flashbacks are very real, dear. I've had them. But the weight of the flashbacks that occur has been exploited by our government for propaganda and the like.

  • @TheInstantPickle Yah, after doing mushrooms, I smoked some weed a day or so after and started seeing multiple potentials of reality in people I was talking to. One of the many over-lapping potentials (like the multiple arms on Hindu statues)would manifest into reality, and I noticed subconscious expectation was affecting the outcome.Flashbacks are kind of over-exaggerated, though, I agree. You don't really see monsters or anything, but I could see how it might be overwhelming.

  • Bill the Shill makes sense on occasion .

  • i love you

  • What?! I don't want to inhibit my asshole!

  • SHROOMS MADE ME BREAK A 3 YEAR INTRAVENUS HEROIN ADDICTION...IM 2 YEARS CLEAN.

  • @Mavericks411991

    Drugs are good mmk?

  • I was never a big fan of bill, until now! That was awesome someone actually told the truth about hallucinogens on television! I hope a lot of people watch this and think about the issue enough to research actual studies and evidence before coming to wild conclusions. We all need to trip a few times in a controlled manner with trusted loving friends in a safe environment. It helps put life and your self into perspective.

  • @LeafFreedom I wish I knew you personally! We could have some great acid experiences together ;)

  • @LeafFreedom so true

  • everyone should try shrooms once in their life, it did bring me out of a dark depression and helped me move on with a lot of things. Things were much more beautiful, life especially. peace

  • @Laurannah101 Even though my last shroom-trip was just a couple of days ago, I do think they are not for everyone. Mushrooms are not only recreational-drug like alcohol or weed, they can really open your mind and I think many are not ready for that. But glad to hear shrooms helped you, I was also in depression before and I like to think shrooms helped me with it.

  • @condemned70 yeah and people need to be informed that there are different kinds of shrooms, like there are different types of weed, and they all affect you differently. peace.

  • @temporaldisplacement

Everything had structure, even nothing had structure, in a cosmological extent. that applies to anarchy, too. I don't think you understand anarchy. Try reading about it.

  • The misinformation about psychedelics the Government has spread borders on being obscene. Most people who haven't took them think they make you literally see things that aren't there, like Bart Simpson and giant insects.

The reality is, they expand your neurons and amplify your mind, which can be unsettling for closed minded people (aka the oh-so-scary "bad trip").

  • @Supaduck0 "expand your neurons and amplify your mind" ...for someone trying to dispell bullshit.............

  • Someone bring this man Kermit the frog, I really want to see that. I would die from laughing uncontrollably.

    Bill is so fucking awesome!

  • That nerd was sexy as fuck!

  • @pSmall360 That nerd was not a nerd.

  • i hate bill maher and think he's pretty much a d-bag 24/7; however, i think this is great and i totally agree with him on this.

  • of course he's exaggerating. thats the whole point of his comedy style. to parody in a satirical manner and exaggerate to make a point. the central idea here is to have the CHOICE and LIBERTY to do what you want as long as it doesnt affect anybody else. and that not everything on the topic drugs is that bad as its made out to be by the govmnt. maybe (or maybe not) with LSD. that requires a calculated and informed decision about costs and health effects. definitely however, with marijuana!

  • I dont agree with bill maher on a lot of things but i agree with him on psychedelics.

  • No one is right, each and every pundit no matter which side you are on are speaking out of their ass. The system is utterly cracked, I have no solutions, you have no solutions, no politician has any solution. And no one will vote for the others solution.

  • @Seasurf88 You've never taken LSD have you? Furthermore, how many accident reports have you heard where the driver responsible for the crash was on LSD?

  • @aceseling Whether I've taken LSD or not is irrelevant to the fact that LSD flashbacks are real phenomena. LSD is a tiny proportion of drug consumption, so I wouldn't expect flashback related accidents to be something the media would report on often. Also, the typical LSD consumer probably takes other drugs, including alcohol, so traffic accidents caused by LSD could be masked by the other drugs.

  • @Seasurf88 If your previous use, or lack thereof, is of no relevance, then how are you able to make any assumptions as to what an LSD flashback would be like if you've never even experienced what a full-blown LSD experience is like? To state that in the unlikely event that someone did experience an LSD flashback while driving would cause an accident in most scenarios is a gross assumption. There's a lot of misconception about what a LSD experience is actually like.

  • @Seasurf88 Your argument assumes that the "typical consumer" would be drunk and on LSD /while/ driving is a generalization based on, what I guess, is no practical knowledge. Saying that accidents could be masked by alcohol but caused by LSD is not logical. Either they were legally intoxicated and unsafe to drive because of the alcohol, or the alcohol didn't mask anything and it was the LSD. And the media would love a story about someone doing something stupid on LSD, but it doesn't happen often.

  • @Seasurf88 Iv taken LSD for years and have never had a flashback or know anyone who has. That doesn't mean these people are not out there, Im just saying its not very common. Out of the hundreds of people I know who'v tried LSD I cant find one who has had a single flashback and we've accepted the phenomena as being mostly propaganda .

The only reason someone might have a flashback is because they had a genetic predisposition to a disease call PTSD. Could have been anything to make them flashback

  • @Seasurf88 Um, I hate to break it to you, but "flashbacks" are a myth propagated by our gov't back in the late 60's/early 70's.

  • @ThePinkfloyd51 actually, I've had two of them in the past 6 months and they're awesome! nothing like reliving a good trip for 10 seconds ;)

  • @ThePinkfloyd51

    Second.

  • @ThePinkfloyd51 Prove it.

  • @ThePinkfloyd51 true story. never had one or have actually heard anyone tell me about one

  • @Seasurf88 You're an idiot. There are appropriate and innappropriate settings for taking different types of drugs. You don't drink while driving and you don't do other drugs that can affect your motor skills while driving.

Get a fucken clue and stop focusing on your false negative preconceptions on drugs you don't understand.

  • @Seasurf88 Yes but alcohol is legal and we see how that works... how many people die a year from LSD??? umm none? How many from alcohol? Yeah next time you want to talk about drugs being so bad maybe attack the 2 biggest killers when it comes to drugs... Tobacco and alcohol.

  • @Seasurf88 But when you feed them medicinal meth that fucks up their SSRI's for life its ok? sure prick

  • @Seasurf88 you're so retarded man, just kill yourself

  • @Seasurf88

You are so hopelessly misinformed. Its sheep like you that will doom this country. If your going to act like you know what your talking about, then atleast do some real research and stop repeating what your TV or DARE counsler told you.

  • @hitmang11 "You are so hopelessly misinformed." What is your superior source?

  • I like drugs but i won't support libertarians just because of that fact.

  • Absolute genius opinions. Could not have said it better myself.

  • Fuck libertarians? Fuck politics altogether, everyone sucks, just live life and be happy and be yourself. Fuck America, fuck all the other countries on this planet. Fuck Fuck Fuck.

  • WOOP WOOP. ...shit is that really my high version of a positive comment?

  • LOVE THIS!!!!!

  • OMG "As we used to call it parenting." I love this guy.

  • Maher is only a libertarian about drugs.

The Democrats, who his liberal audience votes for, would never legalize lsd.

  • @Proindividual Oh, wait yeah sorry i forgot. AYN RAND AYN RAND GOLD GOLD GOLD GOLD AYN RAND AYN RAND GOLD GOLD GOLD. Please dude, libertarians need to get their head out of the gutter, if youre going to minimize government might as well just abolish it altogether and hand all power to corporations. Right now, even with sorta big gov't corps. still got their greedy hands wrapped around it. Also, just to clarify i hate Republicrats (republicans/democrats).

  • @sebz2103 And Anarchism would work how in this country exactly? (I'm assuming you are American.)

  • @ThePinkfloyd51 through technological progress, capitalism is blatantly not working and if we dont find something to replace it with soon our species will be brought to a grinding halt.

  • @ThePinkfloyd51 please google 'anarchist faq'. someone has answered your questions in meticulous detail and even published a book about it.

  • @ThePinkfloyd51 Anarchism is often mistaken as chaos because there's never actually been a modern society with a proper anarchic structure. Real anarchy is simply a horizontally organized community where people contribute for the well being of themselves and other around them. Then without a monetary system people can't hoard resources, and the only solution to a market-less system is to distribute resources equally based on population. That's how anarchy is suppose to work. More or less.

  • @dlouthain "anarchic structure" - think before you post.

  • @ThePinkfloyd51 oooo man, if you ask that you need to learn more about anarchism.

  • Awesome. I just wish the uploader wasn't hung up on party politics.....

  • @vjdep Why do you support the Federal Gov't's laws on what you can and can't put into your body?

  • @ThePinkfloyd51 this person is probably a Texan, you know how they can be.

  • @ThePinkfloyd51

I don't support many of the laws we have today, and I side with neither party.

  • Bill panders to his liberal audience, or grandstands on his liberal beliefs...he knows DAMN WELL Ron Paul has suggested ending the federal drug war and has critcized the pharma industry and it's over-prescribing of drugs to Americans in the VERY Republican Debates he suggests require these ideas. Those ideas are there Bill...last time I checked Obama wouldn't even talk about legalizing weed without laughing at the idea! Liberal bias, anyone? Thank God I'm not liberal or conservative...I'm sane.

  • @ProIndividual Exactly. Thank you.

  • @ProIndividual fuck libertarians and fuck obama.

  • @doox420 Right, and whatever you are is sooo morally and intellectually consistant, right? LMFAO!

  • Fuck libertarians....

  • @sebz2103 Ya, fuck Libertarians.....Smart response. Fuck the anti-war agenda. Real smart. Congratulations.

  • @sebz2103 Yeah, you're right. Fuck those sane people who don't buy into symptoms of psychopathy like false dichotomies and black and white fallacies. Fuck those people who call out both liberals and conservatives (DemoCrips and RepubliBloods) on their bullshit. Fuck those people that make you think, and consider the FACT your whole utopian nonsense system works on extortion (tax) on the threat of kidnapping (prison). Fuck waking up, fuck morality, fuck thinking critically. On 2nd thought, F You.

  • You mean to say asking questions and perhaps, and I'm saying only perhaps, disagreeing with another post on an open forum - a place for open discourse, is "instigating," and not anticipated or even desired? Why should frank discussion be a problem - even when parties disgree? "myhondoz" - are you implying this is a debate-less forum?

  • Incredibly bright post junaid.... You say let it go, many disagree and feel he was not a genious. I post that I want to hear more from Mr J, ---- so I'M THE DUMMY. I didn't even say I disagreed with him. I want to hear more than what he posted. I had no cause to call HIM a "dummy." Leave it to someone like you to chime in and call ME a dummy. Do you know what my opinion is? I never stated it. You see, I TRY to learn a bit more before throwing childish names around. You should do the same.

  • @rbanka2 Stop instigating.

  • Comment removed

  • Who are the guests on this show?

  • Id love to do shrooms with this guy

  • Hey big man..... I'm waiting. Bring it on. But please, save us the profanity, the flaming, and attacks on ME. You don't know me. Answer my question. How do YOU define genious? I acknowledge that I'M not one. Will YOU do the same? Let's get on with this discourse J. And spare us corrections of spelling or use of grammar. This is not Webster's dictionary. When one types here, as long as you get the messege, who gives a rat's rump about spelling or grammar. JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION.

  • @rbanka2 Let it go, dummy. Just because he has a different opinion doesn't mean you have to hound him. Plenty of people don't believe Steve Jobs was a genius, or he was overrated. Big deal. The guy is dead, I doubt he cares what other people think at this point.

  • UH ....Care to elaboborate, oh enlightened one. Perhaps you might start off by giving us YOUR definition of "genius." Then, we can move on from there. And please, please, please don't site IQ test scores, the ability to score big time on JEOPARDY, or the ol' "He was in the right place at the right time" stuff.

  • steve jobs wasnt a genius, when will you people learn.
