@ThePinkfloyd51 Flashbacks are very real, dear. I've had them. But the weight of the flashbacks that occur has been exploited by our government for propaganda and the like.
@TheInstantPickle Yah, after doing mushrooms, I smoked some weed a day or so after and started seeing multiple potentials of reality in people I was talking to. When your child has an LSD flashback while driving and kills a family and/or themselves in a traffic accident, will you be happy and proud you added LSD to their "drug therapy"? No. You'll be on the floor in the fetal position, wailing with grief, anger and regret. Get real, Mr. Maher.
@Seasurf88 You've never taken LSD have you? Furthermore, how many accident reports have you heard where the driver responsible for the crash was on LSD?
@aceseling Whether I've taken LSD or not is irrelevant to the fact that LSD flashbacks are real phenomena. LSD is a tiny proportion of drug consumption, so I wouldn't expect flashback related accidents to be something the media would report on often. Also, the typical LSD consumer probably takes other drugs, including alcohol, so traffic accidents caused by LSD could be masked by the other drugs.
@Seasurf88 If your previous use, or lack thereof, is of no relevance, then how are you able to make any assumptions as to what an LSD flashback would be like if you've never even experienced what a full-blown LSD experience is like? To state that in the unlikely event that someone did experience an LSD flashback while driving would cause an accident in most scenarios is a gross assumption. There's a lot of misconception about what a LSD experience is actually like.
@Seasurf88 Your argument assumes that the "typical consumer" would be drunk and on LSD /while/ driving is a generalization based on, what I guess, is no practical knowledge. Saying that accidents could be masked by alcohol but caused by LSD is not logical. Either they were legally intoxicated and unsafe to drive because of the alcohol, or the alcohol didn't mask anything and it was the LSD. And the media would love a story about someone doing something stupid on LSD, but it doesn't happen often.
@Seasurf88 Iv taken LSD for years and have never had a flashback or know anyone who has. That doesn't mean these people are not out there, Im just saying its not very common. Out of the hundreds of people I know who'v tried LSD I cant find one who has had a single flashback and we've accepted the phenomena as being mostly propaganda .
The only reason someone might have a flashback is because they had a genetic predisposition to a disease call PTSD. Could have been anything to make them flashback
@Seasurf88 You're an idiot. There are appropriate and innappropriate settings for taking different types of drugs. You don't drink while driving and you don't do other drugs that can affect your motor skills while driving.
Get a fucken clue and stop focusing on your false negative preconceptions on drugs you don't understand.
@Seasurf88 Yes but alcohol is legal and we see how that works... how many people die a year from LSD??? umm none? How many from alcohol? Yeah next time you want to talk about drugs being so bad maybe attack the 2 biggest killers when it comes to drugs... Tobacco and alcohol.
You are so hopelessly misinformed. Its sheep like you that will doom this country. If your going to act like you know what your talking about, then atleast do some real research and stop repeating what your TV or DARE counsler told you.
