    Classic family t.v.

  • great show! love this song!

  • THIS WAS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST THINGS THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN ON TV. I USED TO MAKE SURE THAT WHAT EVER I WAS DOING I WAS IN FRONT OF MY TV ON THURSDAY AT 8 PM.......THEN WHEN "A DIFFERENT WORLD" CAME ON I HAD TO WATCH THAT ONE TOO. OMG LISA BONET WAS THE FINEST THING WALKING..........MAN

  • MY FAV. EPISODE

  • When I was a kid and first heard this song, I thought they were saying "Marvin Gaye" . lol

  • People can talk about Sinfield and Friend's all they way, but there has never been a show quite like the Cosby Show. It was a great family, drama, comedy. It's one of the best all-around shows ever created with great writing and acting. Almost every thing you would need in the show, they had it. I'm sure a few more controversial topics could have been touched, but I've yet to see a show quite like this one to this day.

  • @SonicBoomC98 I HAVE TO TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU

  • super super CLASSIC!!!!!

  • This is pure Huxtable CLASSIC comedy at its best! I remember this well! As far as the imperfections, well, that's what made it all the more funny! We, as a family, laughed until we cried when this first was shown.

  • i remember all huddled up in the livingroom with the fam watching this episode in the 80s. fell on the floor laughing at rudy and cliff

  • 0:25 Vanessa almost fell

  • Phylicia Rashad (sp?) mad libbed the choreagraphy that day on the set....everyone just followed suit

  • Back then, she was Phylicia Ayers Allen, although twice-divorced. She must have taken lessons from her sister Deborrah Kaye "Debbie" Allen. LOL

  • This episode was very interesting!

Lisa head bumped in Dr. Huxtable's shoulder 2:02

Dr. Huxtable smacked Lisa's butt 2:05

The grandpa acted as if he was gonna pick up Rudy 2:06

Sondra dissed Rudy when she tried to hug her 2:09

Vanessa's tucking her shirt in 2:10

  • Is there ANYONE in the history of the UNIVERSE finer than Lisa Bonet??

  • @EminemsRevengeNYC There've been a few, but she's way up there...:-)

  • @EminemsRevengeNYC-There are a lot of pretenders to the throne but the answer is NO. The girl was FINE AS HELL!!!

  • @EminemsRevengeNYC

ima have to go wit phylicia rashad on this one. lisa bonet was hot but i remember bein a kid and bein so fascinated by ms rashad and her beauty. she was so feminine and sexy. all the women on the show were attractive tho. i used to play the vhs tapes in slow mo and watch phylicia rashad. lol.

  • Three people are as blind as Ray Charles, but nowhere near as talented.

  • Oh my God Lisa Bonet was soooo damn sexy! She was my childhood crush for sure...

  • So Classic!! and the genius of Cosby to educate the young about the old! what a cornucopia of magical talent!

  • @djmixnmagic. You know, to each his own, but I feel you on this one. For me, this is has to be one of the funniest moments in television history. I don't think I ever laughed harder. Cept in HARLEM NIGHTS when the champ walked in and had the major stuttering problem! lol

  • @commonlogic1 what's with the hating on Tyler Perry....so not necessary.

  • @commonlogic1 LLS! Exactly..his comedy is sooo dry and generic!

  • Cute, hilarious and heartwarming. 'Tis why the Cosby Show was fantastic for so long.

  • TOOO ADORABLE!!!

  • Happy Anniversary Dwight and Sheena!

  • This is a classic a pure classic! Its too bad Lisa Bonet did that Voodoo movie thats why she was kicked off the show..

  • @serenityluvsgod:

I agree it's a pity she wasn't in the show anymore - but her performance in "Angel Heart" was simply great for such a young actress! The movie itself may be terrifying - strictly for an adult audience - but it's an Alan Parker Masterpiece, starring a great DeNiro and maybe Mickey Rourke's best performance ever! ...IMHO...

  • @serenityluvsgod yeah they didnt have to kick her off but thats what bill wanted

  • @serenityluvsgod

Bill & Lisa had their creative differences no doubt, but the reason Lisa was temporarily let go wasn't because of "Angel Heart," it was because she was pregnant with Zoe Kravitz. Bill Cosby didn't want to tarnish the show's squeaky clean image with the idea of a college-aged "Denise Huxtable" being with child.

  • @serenityluvsgod Bill Cosby did far more scandalous stuff than Lisa did in REAL life. So, maybe they both should have lost their jobs.

  • @serenityluvsgod what voodoo movie ?

  • @coolkidmars Angel Heart.

  • @serenityluvsgod I don't think she was kicked off. I am pretty sure that was her decisiona and Cosby worked with her as much as possible to help her in life and keep her on the show.

  • Pause AT 1.45

  • Truly one of my favorite Cosby moments.. :-)

  • One of "the" greatest moments in American television !!!!!!

  • love it

  • I think this episode of the Cosby's started my love of blues music....A few years later I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to live 20 minutes from Beale Street. Walking down the street drinking either Hurricanes & Brass Monkeys, sweltering in the humidity and listening some of the best music i've experienced to date coming out of the nightclubs that I was too young and broke to get into.

  • i love this part of the season, another one of my favorite parts is when they sing with Stevie Wonder
