  • The Ron Paul Ad was interesting.

  • blah blah blah trash nice gun blah blah blah trash nice gun blah blah blah trash nice gun.

Wow. God forbid you should put the threaded barrel protector in the little plastic box in your fnp bag, and heaven forbid you should adjust the extractor, or try different ammo, or recoil spring. And why the heck did you buy it if you weren't gonna put a silencer on it anyway? Too look tacticool?

blah blah blah trash nice gun blah blah blah trash nice gun blah blah blah trash...

  • As much as I like the FNP 45 Tactical, there is one thing on my mind: Is it glove-friendly? (Can I use and fire it while wearing gloves - I'm talking neoprene ones)

  • @SPeacock i have shot it wearing nomex flight gloves and it feels fine, but havent done any heavy glove shooting, the grip checkering is insane on this pistol !!

  • I wish I could bring myself to spend that kind of money, but putting a few grand into a pistol is too much for me

  • @Batmanuel0510 it's only about $900 before adding red dot

  • @Batmanuel0510 bought mine locally for 950 out the door, was the black version, only way it could go to a few grand is the amount of ammo i put thru it.

  • Great vid, looks like the FNP is a hell of a shooter

  • really cool pistol.might smash the bank to get one.thanks for the info nutnfancy

  • Thats some good shooting.

  • so when are we going to see a review of this pistol and the osprey PFI said he ordered. been waitin a while to hear Nutin's opinion on those two

  • That FNP45 looks like it's ready for the Drill. Good.

  • 3:50 The reason I sold my FNX the mag retention is horrible.

  • anyone kow where that gun is made?

  • @Dalton0556G FN is in Columbia, SC

  • Hey Nutn, is it reasonably possible to stabalize that hostage target, or is that just the way it is (wobbling-wobbly)?

  • I own an FNX and at first I thought there would be a problem with magezine retention. Its something that i did not notice at first. I guess it is the only downside to the gun and i dont know why FN changed it. But to be honest i have not had any problems after I got used to it. But, it did take some getting used to. Other wise its a great pistol and i have had no FTF's and no problem with the mags after I trained myself to slap the mag in the right way.

  • Nutnfancy should do a comparison and review of all hi cap 45s, including the hi cap 1911 style pistols. There isn't enough info out there on this topic.

  • Hey PFI Dude or Nutn, I'm looking at getting my first high capacity polymer .45 and it is between the USP45 Tactical or the HK 45 Tactical. What would you suggest? Unfortunately I probably wont be able to shoot either before I buy. Both do give me a warm and fuzzy when I hold them and each feel like they have manageable negative features I can live with.

  • @wolvee123 I sent this over to Nutn, wolvee...to make sure he saw it. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy I guess I should have been more awake when I typed. I put the HK twice and didn't say my other option. :0) The FNP 45 tactical was the other option. (Like what they are shooting in the video.) Thanks Veri, you're a sweetheart.

  • @wolvee123 LOL! I never even noticed, I just knew that I wouldn't know the answer..I'll resend it. -- V

  • @nutnfancy that guy sells saigas??

  • @nutnfancy Any resolution on this? I'm in the same boat.

  • @wolvee123 glock 21 lol jk any one of those pistols you'd be happy with

  • check out my videos micromanish I have both the FNP45 tactical Stainless & the HK45 regular. The FNP hold 15 rounds has a left & right side saftey and decocker.

  • Use a small O-ring that is temperature tollerant---like Silencerco---to keep the thread protector in place and tight...Works awesome! 2500+ rounds and going, unless I take it off.

    DO NOT LUBE O-Ring!!

  • PFI killed it on that second run. The idea of having an optic on a pistol intrigues me haha.

  • I just love French Warfare! FFL for life until death.

  • I bought an FNP 45 in matte black yesterday, just stumbled upon this video after visting your channel after a little absence.

Darn waiting period.....O well, give me time to gather some money for ammo!

  • second run great shooting pfi !!!!!

  • love the new york reload :)

  • sightmark mini red dot around one hundred bucks!

  • 2nd run hostage shoot. Great shooting PFI dude!

  • The NCStar optics are more for Airsoft, pretty much exclusively. Most of there scopes say "Able to withstand 2x airgun recoil."

  • please do this with an fn Five seveN :)

  • unfortunately for me the fnp 45 is not legal in california.... sickk shooting by pfidude! thanks for the video

  • PFIDude is a great shooter.

  • Very CLEAN 2nd run.

  • is there a facility you do this at or did u set this up yourselves? cuz its awesome. and i wanna do it.

  • Hey matt Doesn't A Optic Sight come with Handgun???

  • If cases are being extracted that directly rearward, to where they accually contact your optic, the gun needs to be checked by FN and corrected. That is not typical of this firearm.

  • I was wondering about the size of the grip on the fnp 45. I found that it was 5 11/16" in circumference. That's very nearly the same size as the cardboard tube of a big paper towel roll. Hope that helps somebody else out.

  • ITs a 45. I think anything under two rounds Is kinda over kill maybe ya!?!?! lol

  • Hey man, Can you do a review on the new Heckler and Koch HK45? I'll be waiting for it. :)

  • So, at 8:49 you say "And if anyone says otherwise I challenge them to come out here and do this type of shooting", Now if I were to say otherwise then would you say what desert your at? haha, just kidding, i respect your wanting to keep it secret, as well as i know that this is an incredibly difficult course to run. Keep up the great work Nutn! Sincerely- Brownnz.

  • Nice trick to keep your thread protector on is clear top coat nail polish. Survives thousand of rounds on any threaded barrel I have ever owned. If you are not comfortable with that alone, then go to your local auto store and get high heat O-rings that will not melt on the barrel. Hope that helps you buddy.

  • Have you ever run tested the HK45?

  • PX4 Storm .45 is where it's at.

  • 365th comment and 666th like! :)

  • Hey, cool note! I got one of those guns, and I ran into the same "weak ass ejection/hits the optic" problem.

Don't use 185 or 200 grain ammo. I tried loading 200 grain bullets as hot as I could get them, still failed to feed sometimes.

Use 230 grainers. The extra kick helps reliable function, and throws cases cleanly.

  • just more reasons to run a M&P 45

  • that is a big ass mag

  • My FNP-40 would always eject out the bottom if you fired it with the mag out. Seems this is common to top-heavy polymer handguns. Sold the 40 but miss it now, will probably get the 45 tactical when more money.

  • LMAO @ Dana Carvey's SNL - "Well isn't that special" classic.

  • sweet ass video

  • When you are out in the field, do you police your brass?

  • you need to put a thread protector on that or atleast get a aac ti rant 45

  • are threaded barrels reverse thread? i know the compensator on my AK is reverse thread.. just wondering and i figured you would know

  • @dizzyarmstrong Ak threads are left handed, but most threaded barrels are right hand threaded.

There are alot of different threadings.

  • @Kylef7735

ahhh okay, i was just wondering. I am very biased to AKs so thats really the only platform i have used that utilizes a threaded barrel

  • @dizzyarmstrong Ahh, lol

Think of it like nuts and bolts, there are all different, sizes and angles and thicknesses.

  • im a huge 1911 fan and im lookin into getting an fnp45. i love the short trigger pull of my GI1911, so would this probably be a bad choice? ive shot a sig p220 and i didnt really like the trigger alot, and its a longer pull.

  • A little bit of teflon tape holds the thread caps on.

  • Why the hell didn't his last casing from the glock get ejected??? Never even thought that could happen, it just sat on the mag until he took that out....

  • @Ducky1138 Actually, he took the mag out then fired.

  • Table-top on the custom vest..?

  • You guys should toss a dummy round into each mag. I do that and the constant practice is invaluable.

  • "I felt myself jerkin" :)

  • Whats the fun in that

  • It's like the first time PFI Dude isn't wearing a pink hat. ^^

  • Uh now I rememer why I stopped watching Nutnfancys videos. Because he's such a smartass and is really annoying.

  • Wow that pistol is so fucking badass! I had no idea they had those optics for pistols! BAD ASS.

  • HAHA that ricochet is awesome

  • did anyone else hear that sound at 6:27? was that a bullet flying off the metal target?

  • @Hey573 Yes it was, pretty common sound when shooting steel.

  • Wow man those rebounces look dangerous. I have no expirence in shooting guns, but i can think that the kenetic energy of the bounced off bullets is so low it cant inflict a serious wound. Or are you guys just crazy?

  • The case ejection issue is pretty prominent among fnp-45's. I don't know why. When I called FNH they said to send the gun in, it came back and still did it. Sometimes it flies straight up and hits me on top of my head. Good news is, it does not do this with +p ammo. It flies to the right as it should. I'd be using +p for self defense anyway, so its not a problem for me. Btw, the recoil on this gun with +p is about the same as a regular 230 grain from my kimber 1911.

  • lol 13:15 "I felt myself jerkin" if you didn't feel yourself jerkin you may wana see a specialist... cause i mean that's a VERY sensitive part of the body... if you cant feel that you are in trouble!

  • If you don't want to put a suppressor on your gun. Put a muzzle brake, or a flash hider on it. Extra badassery

  • good shooting.

  • nutn needs to invest in a helmet cam

  • Those 12oz curls will do that to you!

  • ive been waiting for this for awhile

  • Hey Nutnfancy, where exactly do you live? The places you go shooting at are amazing, hope I can visit some day.

  • i have a few words to say to nutn not going to do it yet as everything hasn't dropped into place yet but it will and when it does i can only say one thing, thanks nutn for making me man up. i will be looking forward to emailing you the full story its been a hard road.

  • Priceless ricochet @ 6:26

  • Comment removed

  • Well done, amazing how good he shot the targets... pfidude my hero ;)

  • NICE shooting, as always, PFIDude!

  • Any1 else hear that recoil come close to em at 6:28?

  • learn the truth about nutnfancy

    /watch?v=7EyQzbVsj-g

    dont be a fool

  • That gun looks sick as hell with that red dot!

  • PFI is easily my favorite contributor to the TNP! Cool vid Nutn.

  • @KevinMichaelMichael thanks! It is a lot of work, but it is well worth it when we get to hear from supporters like yourself. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Even though I may not always get a chance to comment, I always see the posts. Keep it safe! PFI

  • wow, now i realize why your "testing" the body armor.... did you hear that wicked richochet at 6:26 when PFI was shooting at the hostage target..? I've heard them (richochets) in several vids now when you guys are shooting these steel targets... its enough so I personally would be a little concerned about "Trench Warfare" turning into a visit to the ER.

  • I am in love

  • cool vid man look fun

  • Actually that's a good idea! Trench Warfare the Nutnfancy video game!

  • Need to find someone to do some gunsmithiing on FNP45's

  • I would ask to see your total gun collection but that would be a bit rude and selfish of me.... :)

  • Is there any way to change the way the pistol extracts the round? To get it to throw them to the side instead of over the top?

  • tactical dude is gooooooood... whens his channel starting? ;-j

  • what brand ammo did you use in this video

  • Is there any risk of ricochets from these steel targets you are shooting here? I know many targets deflect down however it seems like some of these are at 90 degree angles.

  • Comment removed

  • he rocks that pistol... just sayin

  • 6:09 My wife says funner is not a word.

I tell Her she needs to shoot more....You just don't know what "funner" is.

  • That gun is siiiiiiick! All over the magazines these days

  • Second round was really impressive!

  • Round 2 very nice!

  • My Xmas present to myself this year is a FNP 9, now I'm just that much more pumped about it.

  • Those ricochets I hear out there scare the shit out of me. You guys should put some water down below your steel targets to soften up the gravel. Everytime I hear a ricochet I flinch.

    Thumbs Up.

  • @EmpathyWorks Why? your not in any danger.

  • I think one of the advantages of shooting in this type of environment is one has to deal with the environmental challenges ie the sun making it difficult to see the one target. As always PFI, nice shooting.

  • Really liking these videos. I'm quickly becoming a TNP fan.

  • maybe a drop of superglue on the threads to hold the protector on if you dont plan on using them cuz itll be a bitch to get off. but i dont know how good superglue is under heat

  • @bstjames1611 from personal experince it fails bro, even "Red" locktight gives out once the barrel gets hot.

  • @TheDishD

Try Teflon Tape. It's heat resistant and easily removable.

  • @dullbrass cheers bro, unfortunately i had to leave my threaded barrel with family overseas (they are banned here in Aussie Land) but thanks il try it out next time im over there.

  • @TheDishD yes it does...barrels do get a "little" hot;) Take care Dish! PFI

  • you dont use a tread protecter?

  • @WeAreBeastSometimes you don't have audio? they address that w/in the first minute.

  • @WeAreBeastSometimes He mentions @1:15 or so that he can't keep the thread protectors on his gun for somereason.

  • you need to try to get your hands on a Hi-Point carbine. I bought mine for 180$ and I love it. Very reliable, tons of aftermarket trickouts available. Extremely high value.

  • @Rossowens not a fan of the hi-point, never been reliable in my testing...maybe nutn will test one too...PFI

  • @PFIDude sorry to hear that, ive heard nothing but good things from other owners. The only problem I have encountered is that replacement/extra magazines take some serious loving to break them in before they cycle 100%--which Ill level as a considerable hit against the hipoints. Other than that I really cant complain, accurate enough at 100yds out of the box and relatively cheap to shoot--great after-market appeal as well. Doesnt mind shooting dirty either. Cheers.

  • cool video thanks tnp thx pfi

  • I would love to hear PFI's thoughts and/or some philosophy regarding holographic sights on handguns. The trend of the future? Overly complex? I really like the co-witnessing capability--this alleviates a lot of concerns I would have about the optic crapping out on me, etc.

  • 8:50 The transition from revolver to semi auto is easy... fly me out from aus and give me a go :D

  • Do you think you will ever do a review on your camera?

  • whats with dot sight

  • new york reload at end sick . pfi shoots like a pro wait he is a pro.

  • looks like fun

  • Ya'll will certainly be ready when the Turner Diaries scenarios comes to pass!

  • Oh wow my account for some reason unsubbed for you so i didn't know you had a new vid but I subbed again

  • well cool

  • Pretty sweet. I love my FNP9.

  • Great vid! Good data points on the FNP vs the FNX. Thanks for sharing

  • you guys are getting in shape! lot less huffing and puffin in the high altitude desert

  • you guys are getting in shape! lot less huffin and puffin in the high altitude desert

  • Looks to me as if there's one guy with about a dozen youtube accounts and his only sense in life is to thump down each and every one of Nutn's videos. Get a life, douche.

  • @dullbrass Maybe if people didn't call other people "douches" they would all get along better...... just saying

  • @gboyd242 Well . . . yes :o)

(wondering who else was thinking of Grizzly Adams when reading your comment :o) )

  • @dullbrass

Maybe, there's a world where we don't have to run and gun :o)

  • @dullbrass there is a world where you don't have to run and gun. it's called the dead sitting ducks world where you get shot for real because you were never trained to shoot and move.

  • Looks like fun! When do I get my invite to come out and run with you guys?! LOL

Seriously though, are you going to be at the Shot Show in a few weeks in Vegas?

  • AWESOME. This is the next gun that I want to get (Handgun). Ever since I seen PFI Running in the first time in your vid Nutn.

TNP Junkie here! Must admit you (Nutn) and PFI and Sadlymissing all opened me up to new firearms that I never considered before. My addiction is getting just sick. haha

  • the second run was pretty damn sweet well done keep it up

  • THAT FN is precise! I've not seen a better run in the trench! It must be that Speed bead.

  • That was some good shooting!

  • Good vid Nutn , love my basic FNP 45 . I don't need all the stuff the tactical has . I like the tab on the mags its a good reference point to rest my finger on and one less hole to get dirt in . who wouldn't like 15-16 rounds of 45 acp ! Another fun vid from TNP .

  • nice shoots..;D

  • first i've seen pfidude without the pink hat on in awhile!

  • Anyone here handled both the FNP45 and a Full Size USP? I have the USP in 40 and was just curious how it compared (ergonomically) to the FNP.

  • wow..that must be an epic event picking them all up.

  • More fun stuff !!

  • Looks like fun !! Thanks for vid Nutn

  • You guys are having way to much fun!

  • For an explanation and non-scientific experiment, see hickok45's video on semi-auto's without mags inserted.

  • @stangfromhale lol im the one that actually explained to hickok about it. next day or so he made the video :D.

  • Love this video. I wanted that, but second thought I think the S&W 1911 you got out, might be a better first choice. Like to get a Buckmark like you had, how's it stack up next to the very first Ruger gun made too.

Keep up the good videos, hope your not done with that F&N and have a happy New year. Second thought disregard all above and do a review on GAS X product in Trench Warfare? :)

  • if a thread protector can work its way loose, does that mean a silencer will work its way loose as well?

  • At 11:14 I was glad to see PFIDude taking cover to reload. Perfecting this technique is paramount and should be practiced whenever possible. I've been watching TNP vids a while and I think that Nutn does NOT stress this enough, at least not in the trench.

  • The kick on this gun seems pretty big.

  • Awesome video!

    Damn that looks like fun!

Thanks for all your hard work.

  • not to be mean....I think there should be a weight limit for wearing military style uniforms.
